Stap in het hart van een duurzame Kretenzische olijfboerderij gerund door een moeder-dochter duo. Kook hands-on in een buitenkeuken, leer traditionele kookgeheimen en zuur verse ingrediënten rechtstreeks uit onze tuin. Een van de hoogtepunten van onze kookervaring is dat we als werkende olijfolieboerderij een begeleide olijfolieproeverij opnemen, omdat we het belangrijk vinden om met u te delen hoe u een echte extra vierge olijfolie kunt herkennen of hoe zuurgraad, oogst en persing de kwaliteit beïnvloeden en nog veel meer details. Je bekijkt ook een korte video achter de schermen waarin je ziet hoe we onze olijfbomen oogsten — een echte blik in onze familietraditie. Deze tour is perfect voor reizigers die niet alleen willen begrijpen wat Kretenzers koken - maar ook hoe en waarom! Ons doel is niet alleen om u kooktechnieken te leren, maar om u uit te nodigen in onze familie en manier van leven! We zijn ook trots op het aanpassen van onze kooklessen aan uw voorkeuren en behoeften, of het nu gaat om een aanzienlijke allergie of een vegetarische levensstijl.

We had a wonderful evening with Marianna and Stella. A great location, very warm hosts, everything prepared perfectly, and in the end a very generous, super delicious meal - for us a vacation highlight 🫶 recommended for anyone who wants to get to know the real Crete.
This was a Wonderful Experience for my Fiancée and I. We especially enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality of Marianna and her Mother! That atmosphere was Authentic, the class had plenty of time and did not feel rushed, and the Food was delicious!
What an amazing experience! We loved this cooking class and the time spent with Mariana and her mom. I felt like we were emersed in Cretan food and culture that was far beyond any other travel cooking class I've taken. This was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Greece and I highly recommend!
Such a precious family! The experience was amazing… but aside from the cooking class, and what we actually signed up for… the WHOLE “experience” offered far more! We were introduced to the farm dog “Ira” who was adorable, we met family members and were treated like part of the family from start to finish! I feel like, in the past, similar classes have been nice but we’re ready to head back after the allotted time is up but this one? We had awesome conversation and had to make ourselves leave! It’s incredibly informative, terrific food, beautiful family, and a truly amazing experience!
Highly recommended! We had a fantastic time at this cooking class! The setting is beautiful, so peaceful, and we loved picking fresh produce from the garden to cook with. Marianna and her Mom, were a wonderful hosts who provided great explanations and thoughtfully accommodated our dietary needs. We have been really touched by their kindness. This is a complete experience, cooking but also learning more about the Greek culture, the olive oil and connecting with people. Thank you!
What a great time! I was travelling in Crete with my two granddaughters. We wanted to learn more about Cretan cooking and food. The cooking class and olive oil tasting experience at Cretan Vibes exceeded all of our expectations. Maryanna and Stella are great hosts; they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. I am not a naturally skilled cook, but it didn't matter. The class is small and Maryanna guided me through the entire process. Once the cooking was done, we enjoyed our delicious lamb stew, stuffed zucchini flowers and dolmades! Now that we are home, we plan to share our new found expertise in Cretan cooking with friends and family! A special experience we will all long remember.
We were well received by Mariana and her mother, Stella. First a good introduction to the area, the farm and today's program. Then we started cooking, which was well prepared. On the way there were local snacks and tasting of olive oil. Everything worked perfectly and the result tasted good. Mariana and Stella managed to make us feel at home and created a really good mood. If we visit Crete again we will come again!
Insanely delicious cooking class! You definitely leave the beautifully decorated outdoor kitchen with a full stomach:) The organizers are also incredibly friendly and accommodating - very great experience!
