Onze tour begint in Hobart en eindigt in Launceston.
Uw reis begint helder en vroeg met een vertrek uit Hobart. Na 1,5 uur stoppen we voor een pauze in Campbell Town, waar u uw benen kunt strekken, een kopje koffie kunt pakken en kunt genieten van een lichte snack voordat u verder gaat.
Cradle Mountain wordt wereldwijd erkend om zijn pure schoonheid en is niet te missen tijdens een bezoek aan Tasmanië. Bij aankomst in het informatiecentrum voor de deur van Cradle Mountain slaan we vloeistoffen in en gaan we naar de oevers van Dove Lake, waar je in totaal 3,5 uur hebt om te dwalen en het nationale park te verkennen. Neem het Dove Lake circuit of kies een van de vele andere grote of kleine wandelingen. Zodra het Dove Lake-gebied is verkend en je die gewaardeerde Instagram-foto hebt gemaakt, is het tijd om door te gaan naar de wandelingen in het Betoverde Bos en King Billy Pine. Deze twee uitzonderlijk mooie en oude wandelingen zullen u met amoureuze vreugde door het bos laten staren terwijl u de frisse, ongerepte lucht inademt van onder het bladerdak van 4000 jaar oude bomen. Inheemse dieren zijn er in overvloed in dit gebied, dus houd je ogen open en je kunt de ongrijpbare Tasmaanse duivel, wombats, Spotted Quolls, wallabies en meer zien!
Na 3,5 uur Cradle Mountain verkennen, gaan we naar het charmante stadje Sheffield, bekend om zijn levendige muurschilderingen die de rijke geschiedenis en het natuurlijke erfgoed van het gebied prachtig weergeven. Neem de tijd om door de artistieke straten van de stad te dwalen, lokale galeries te verkennen en te genieten van de creatieve sfeer.

I had a fantastic day trip to Cradle Mountain and would highly recommend it. Our guide, Mark, was incredibly knowledgeable and a great storyteller. He shared interesting facts throughout the journey and made sure everyone felt comfortable, included, and engaged. The drive was long, but the stops in the small towns helped break it up. The view of Cradle Mountain was absolutely breathtaking and worth every minute of the journey. We also did a short walk through the Enchanted Forest, which was so peaceful. One of the highlights of the day was having a very close encounter with a wombat in the wild. Definitely worth it and highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Huge thanks to our amazing guide and driver, Gray, for making this trip so wonderful. Throughout the whole journey, he shared so much practical information, and the pace of the entire itinerary was incredibly smooth. The real highlight of his exceptional service happened at the very end. I completely spaced out and missed the first drop-off at the Launceston Transit Centre. Gray was an absolute lifesaver! He went above and beyond to make sure I still caught my connecting bus right on time. Truly grateful for his kindness and professionalism—highly recommend him!

Excellent! Specially, our Tour Guide, Mark, was super friendly, helpful and managed the whole tour efficiently. He is knowledgeable person with lots of experiences & information. Mark also kept each and every person on the bus engaged with interacting with each one individually, throughout the tour. I joined the Hobart–Cradle Mountain–Launceston day tour with Tassie Tours and had an excellent experience. Our driver-guide was very professional and kind, driving over 10 hours and still keeping everyone comfortable. He shared great insights along the way and even drove the vehicle right into the national park, which was super convenient. Despite the cloudy and rainy weather, I still saw the beautiful Cradle Mountain and some cute wombats. A very worthwhile tour — highly recommend this company!
