Vaar langs de prachtige kusten van het Marino Las Baulas Nationaal Park en Playa Huevo, twee verborgen pareltjes voor de kust van Cabo Velas, Guanacaste. Als u langs Marino Las Baulas vaart, ziet u duizenden ongerepte stranden, zoals Playa Grande, Ventanas en Carbón, omringd door droog tropisch regenwoud en mangrovebossen vol zeevogels, pelikanen, fregatten en reigers. Houd uw ogen op het water gericht: u kunt mantaroggen, speelse dolfijnen en zeeschildpadden vlak onder het wateroppervlak spotten. Van oktober tot en met februari is dit gebied een belangrijke broedplaats voor reuzenschildpadden. Bezoekers kunnen deze ongelooflijke wezens bij zonsondergang aan land zien komen: een werkelijk onvergetelijk schouwspel. Als u verder naar het zuiden rijdt, onthult de kustlijn indrukwekkende kliffen, rotsformaties en verborgen baaien totdat u het afgelegen Playa Huevo bereikt: een klein privéstrand omgeven door bos en turquoise wateren. Afgelegen, vredig en ongerept: het is een plek die je eraan herinnert waarom Costa Rica een paradijs is.
Het is geen wonder dat Playa Tamarindo een van de meest bezochte en best beoordeelde stranden van Costa Rica is. Tamarindo wordt geprezen door TripAdvisor en internationale media zoals The Costa Rican News. Het is het meest besproken strand van het land vanwege de adembenemende zonsondergangen, waar de zon in de Stille Oceaan smelt en de lucht verlicht met gouden, roze en violette tinten die u nooit zult vergeten. Elke avond wordt een levende ansichtkaart: pelikanen die boven de golven zweven, zonlicht dat op het water danst en een sfeer die natuur, vrijheid en puur leven combineert. Bij Playa Huevo breng je ongeveer een uur door in een verborgen paradijs. Heb je je ooit voorgesteld dat je aan een koude Imperial of een verfrissende piña colada nipt, terwijl de zon op het turquoise water reflecteert? Hier kunt u dat doen terwijl u snorkelt, suptboardt of kajakt, omringd door kleurrijke vissen, nieuwsgierige zeeschildpadden en sierlijke kustvogels. Met het zachte witte zand en de vredige sfeer van dit afgelegen strand is dit de ideale plek om te ontspannen, de omgeving te verkennen en te genieten van uw eigen stukje paradijs. Had a great time - we were by far the oldest on the trip but our group was a lot of fun. The crew took great care of us all, sunset was gorgeous! Had all the promised equipment and provided a great experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful day on the water. Boat was great for 24 people but would have been crowded if it was at max with 64.
I felt very comfortable before, on and after the catamaran ride. The staff was able to answer all my questions and always checked on us to make sure we were doing okay! We had such a wonderful time; I would highly recommend!
We enjoyed our day. Boat staff was great and they worked hard all day. Food was great. Overall we enjoyed our day, but we did not see anything at all and the snorkeling was not good. Couldn’t see anything really, but we still had fun and enjoyed it

My friends and I had a wonderful time on this catamaran tour! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, kept us well provided on drinks through the journey, and had many different activity options for the water. They had food options that I could eat (gluten free) and it seemed that the food should be safe for other dietary restrictions as well - I asked them before eating and they were able to tell me which dishes I could have. A very fun activity for anyone, we had a blast, and a very big thank you to Coral Dreams for a fun day.
I was on the 1:00 PM catamaran tour on May 14, 2026, and had an excellent experience. I heard a negative comment was made about one of the crew members, so I want to share what I personally experienced. The entire crew was excellent during the whole tour. The staff member in question was always respectful, attentive, kind, and professional. At no point did I see any inappropriate behavior or anything that made me or other guests feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, the atmosphere was great, full of positive energy, and everyone felt well taken care of during the trip. My experience was completely positive. I have photos from the tour that show how amazing it was and I'm happy to share them. Highly recommend this tour! 🌊💗🇨🇷
DO NOT BOOK IF YOUR A SOLO FEMALE TRAVELER , GROUP OF WOMEN OR HAVE KIDS!!!! My sister's and I ( 4 total) booked this excursion on our recent trip and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had. We've traveled the world and had many snorkeling experiences but this was by far the worst. I'm not even going to pretty it up with a bunch of words I'll list what you need to know. 1. They park in the middle of the ocean and say swim to the beach ( ill include a video of the distance). No question of swimming ability, NO LIFE JACKETS , NO FLOATATION DEVICE, A POOL NOODLE IS WHAT WAS OFFERED! 2. They harassed us to get off the boat which made us incredibly uncomfortable because there was a girl alone that they kept trying to take pictures of and ask inappropriate questions to so of course we were not leaving her alone on that boat with them. 3. The one guide kept spraying his genitals with the hose to make it erect and rolling his shorts up and standing at eye level with female guests to the point my sister had to say something to him about it! 4. The tour had a mix of black and white guests when we asked everyone's music preferences and all agreed we were going to do a Playlist the guide instead proceeded to play numerous songs containing the N word to the point it made us all uncomfortable and felt targeted. 5. The food was cold and delivered by guys on a small boat and when we asked who was approaching the boat we were ignored though we expressed we were asking for safety reasons as we were already far out to sea 6. The views were beautiful but the discomfort we felt as women on the boat the entire time made this the longest and most disappointing experience I've ever had. I would absolutely encourage these owners to get new help before someone slaps them with a sexual harassment lawsuit. I will be making social media posts about this as well as I would hate for any woman to be made to feel how we did that day.

the review that said “truly open bar” was true!!! delicious drinks and lunch served. boat boys were very attentive and kind when checking on us for more drinks and asking about overall experience. wish it was an adult only boat, there were 2 kids among a ton of adults drinking. different groups with us were a great vibe! would book this tour again if i’m ever in the area
