Verken de jungle-schoonheid van Cozumel in een jeep. Bezoek een geweldige tequilera waar je meer te weten kunt komen over het destillatieproces en de verschillende smaken, geuren en kleuren kunt ervaren. Reis naar de oostkant van het eiland om de prachtige ongerepte stranden van San Martin en El Mirador te bewonderen. Hier kunt u adembenemende foto's maken. Rij vervolgens door kronkelende wegen, dichte bossen en weelderige vegetatie diep in de legendarische stad El Cedral, waar de rijke geschiedenis van het eiland tot leven komt. Hier begint ons offroad-avontuur. Zodra we de Jade Caverns & Cenote bereiken, neem je een duik in de Cenote Jade en ervaar je de grotten, terwijl je onderweg een deel van de geschiedenis leert. Na dit geweldige off-road avontuur is het tijd voor de laatste stop, een strandvakantie bij een strandclub. Hier ervaar je een authentieke Mexicaanse lunch en heb je de kans om te snorkelen. Volg het water voor een begeleide snorkelexcursie. Je zult versteld staan van de tropische schoonheid van het koraalrifsysteem.

Uw avontuur begint bij het op maat gemaakte ontmoetingspunt. Onze gids zal u en uw gezin snel ontvangen en alle vragen en aangepaste verzoeken die u heeft doornemen. Dan is het tijd om in je jeep te springen en naar de Tequila ranch te gaan.
Eenmaal aangekomen word je begroet door de ranch familie, en leer je over Mexico's beroemdste drank, Tequila! Ervaar de smaken, kleuren en aroma's van Tequila en leer over het distillatieproces. Breng zeker een bezoek aan de lokale dieren op het terrein. Koeien, kippen, schapen en meer
Na het plezier op Rancho Alejandra, gaan we naar de oostkant van Cozumel eiland om te stoppen bij het eerste maagdelijke strand, Chen Rio. Hier is een lagune met onze Krokodillenvriend "Ancho" die soms zonnebadend te zien is. Aan de strandkant van Chen Rio is er een rotsformatie in het water die een veilige plek creëert om in het water te komen als een kinderbad.
Hier in El Cedral rijden we langs een schilderachtige jungleweg naar beneden en naar de eerste stad van Cozumel en leren we iets over de geschiedenis ervan. Hier vindt u een buurt van rustige ranch stijl huizen in de dichte Cozumel Jungle te vinden. In het midden van het centrum van de stad is een enorme palapa waar tijdens bepaalde tijden van het jaar zijn er grote festiviteiten, evenals een prachtig standbeeld van een Mexicaans echtpaar gekleed in hun traditionele kleding genaamd "Los Mestizos". U vindt er ook een van Cozumel's eerste katholieke kerk gebouwd direct naast een oude Maya-tempel.
Zet je adventure hat op want het is tijd om de wildernis in te gaan. Rijd over het hobbelige offroad pad diep de Maya Jungle in en leer over de flora en fauna tot we aankomen bij Cozumel's grootste bekende Cenote. In tegenstelling tot de massieve Cenotes in Yucatan is deze een beetje anders. De cenote Jade of oorspronkelijk "Chempita" genoemd is een kleinere Cenote met kronkelende trappen zodat je erin kunt klimmen. Hier leert onze gids je wat geschiedenis over Cenotes en laat je enkele van de lokale soorten zien. Vaak zul je vleermuizen vinden die rustig ondersteboven hangen te slapen, wachtend tot de zon onder is zodat ze iets te eten kunnen vinden.
Na de verkenningstijd van El Cedral en Jade Cenote is het tijd voor een welverdiende strandvakantie. Eenmaal aangekomen bij de beachclub, zal onze vriendelijke gids uw gezin ontvangen aan een tafel en u de faciliteiten laten zien. Bar, badkamers, kleedkamers, douches en ligstoelen zijn allemaal inbegrepen. Bestel uw inbegrepen Mexicaanse lunch met een keuze uit kip, rundvlees of vis fajitas. Na het eten zal onze gids je klaarzetten met snorkelspullen en je een overzicht geven van hoe je de uitrusting moet gebruiken. Het zicht is uitstekend in de Caribische wateren. U zult zeker een scala aan verschillende soorten kleurrijke tropische vissen zien terwijl u boven het koraalrifsysteem zwemt. In het water liggen ook drijvend speelgoed en een trampoline waar je gerust op mag klimmen. Of u kunt ervoor kiezen om achterover te leunen op een loungestoel aan het water terwijl u wat zonnestralen opvangt en luistert naar de golven die zachtjes langs de strandoever breken. Er is niet veel in de wereld dat is meer ontspannen dan een leuke strandvakantie.
Als je klaar bent met snorkelen, is het tijd om met je gids terug te gaan naar het verzamelpunt waar je bent opgehaald.

Sergio was our guide and he was fantastic! Along with Tanya who was training. They have a cooler with complimentary water, beer and soda which was great with it being super hot in August. First I would like to say they let you customize this tour to whatever you like. I was traveling with my husband and my three children ages 21, 22 and 25. My 25 year old son got to drive the jeep, so he was thrilled. It is no surprise they wanted this first stop at a tequila tasting shop. I enjoyed learning about how tequila is made. They of course want you to buy something at the end, but you can just say no. You can also skip this if you don’t enjoy drinking. Next we headed to Playa Chen Rio. We saw a crocodile, climbed up some lava rocks on the beach and got a coco loco served in a fresh coconut at the family run stand. Next we headed to the blow holes. On our way there a turtle release open air bus was pulled to the side of the road. Sergio pulled over so we could watch. Unfortunately no one was there, but this shows how thoughtful Sergio was to make sure we had the best experience possible. We all climbed to the blowhole and were able to get our picture there. It was a lot of fun getting sprayed by the ocean water. Next we went to the cenote at Jade cavern. The road to get there is bumpy. We were laughing and having fun at getting bounced all around. There are fruit bats here but they do not harm you. There is a slight smell of sulphur due to the bat dung. There was an opening in the cave that was about 3 meters high. The three kids jumped from there. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We headed to the Money Bar after that. You can shower off here. We had a free lunch of fish or chicken tacos or burritos, then we went snorkeling. We saw an eel, parrot fish, clown fish, trumpet fish and a lot of other fish too. The whole day was great! Sergio and Tanya did everything to make this excursion unforgettable! They even took pictures and videos of us for no extra charge and sent them to us through the What’s app.
Catalina was amazing. She customized the day to fit our needs and the day flowed very well. She had a cooler of refreshments for us to enjoy and made sure we were prepared for each stop. If you want more than a beach day, you should definitely consider this!
This tour was great. Ricardo was a fantastic guide. It was really nice that we could adjust the schedule to do different things. It was neat to see Cozumel from a different perspective. We really enjoyed the cenotes and the beach club, along with everything that we did in between! I would definitely recommend this tour and would tell everyone to ask for Ricardo as their guide!
This experience delivered exactly what we were looking for: a little bit of everything without any stress. We stopped by the WWII planes first due my husband's interest in history and then learned about the tequila making process with quite a few small samples - the small tostada afterwards was helpful for soaking it all up! The main tequila guide was great and not pushy (though some of the other vendors were). Then out to the cenote where we spotted wildlife, climbed in a small cave, and watched others take the jump into the water. Finally some time to snorkel and relax at the beach - fish and coral were sparse but the water was calm and cool on a hot day. Lunch was simple and fresh. Katy our guide was wonderful - knowledgeable, easy to chat with, and took great care of us throughout the day. If you've reached the birdwatching stage of life, this is the tour for you.
Our family of six booked this tour with Sergio and Tonya acting as our guides. They were both absolutely amazing. Even though we were booking the Jade Cavern tour they did give us an option to choose an alternate cenote if we liked. Which we did, we also saw the blow holes on the east side, had a lot of fun at the tequila tasting, and very tasty lunch at the money bar. Sergio and Tonya were very gracious and knowledgeable hosts. They both were very personable and took care to make sure we had the best day. We were still talking about our experience at dinner tonight. We all had such a great time and agreed that we would definitely do again on our next visit to Cozumel. - Thank you JeepRiders!!!
FERNANDO EMIR was a great tour guide! He showed us the past, and present culture of Cozumel! He shared how he grew up in the island which my boys enjoyed listening to.
We recommend this tour. Our family enjoyed this. Of the three stops on our cruise, we probably enjoyed this stop the most. A couple items to be aware of. First, for a group of 5 or more, be prepared to drive your own jeep and follow the guide in a seperate car. We were not prepared. Second, the second stop for us was a waste of time that affected the other stop timing. It was tequila, chocolate, and honey tasting [and a Mayan "fire dance" demonstration] at a building somewhere in downtown metropolis (looks like a Jeep dealer or garage from the road). Everyone was fine there, not too pushy. And the fire dance was neat. But, we were not interested in these products [same chocolate was cheaper at the cruise terminal shops btw]. In my mind when booking this tour I thought we would see a little how they MAKE these products...not just sales pitches in a "shop." Bring cash for tips. Everything else was great! We wish we had more time to snorkel and to shop at the small local beach shops, but more a ship schedule problem with 3pm return time (or if we skipped the hour at the second stop). My kids still talk about the food we got and how good it was!
Fernando was a fantastic guide! He had a lot of information about the area its history. As a local, you could tell that he has a lot of passion for his island and wants people to love it as much as he does. He answered all of our questions and was super friendly and helpful. We were there celebrating my partners' birthday and he made sure that we ended at the beach club with tequila shots and cake :). He was also a great photographer and took pics of us in all the pretty places along the way. We had a really great time and would definitely recommend to friends. Muchas gracias, Fernando!
