Al meer dan een halve eeuw huisvest de Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum een groeiende collectie van meer dan 2,5 miljoen artefacten, waaronder unieke opnamen, films, instrumenten en meer. Bezoekers van alle leeftijden ontdekken in de interactieve galerieruimte de verbanden tussen het verleden van countrymuziek en artiesten van nu. Wees getuige van alles, van Hank Williams' geliefde Martin gitaar tot Elvis Presley's custom Cadillac, tot outfits en instrumenten van al je favoriete artiesten! Het museum is op zichzelf staand, en gasten besteden meestal ongeveer 1,5-2 uur aan het bekijken van onze tentoonstellingen.

Echte verhalen die verteld moeten worden - dat is wat je zult ervaren in de Country Music Hall of Fame en het Museum. Begin je reis door de geschiedenis van de country muziek met Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins, Folk Roots to the 1960s. Deze opwindende meerlagige ervaring vertelt het verhaal van de bescheiden folkwortels van country muziek en volgt de evolutie ervan tot in de jaren zestig. In 2010 opende het museum een geheel nieuwe tentoonstellingservaring, een uitbreiding op Sing Me Back Home met Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues, 1960s to the Present. Deze uitbreiding omvatte de toevoeging van honderden nieuwe artefacten en multimedia-elementen die zich richten op de recente geschiedenis van country muziek. De geschiedenis komt tot leven met elk vertegenwoordigd tijdperk van country muziek.

My husband and I did a self guided tour. We took our time at our own pace and if was great! Loved the Dolly exhibit and the Kenny Chesney exhibit
It was very interesting and very fun, plan for getting through the museum to take approximately 3 hrs or so. Gift shop is expensive so if you want anything be wary and ready to pay a small fortune.
Great place to take the family. A little expensive but the experience was worth it.

Great tour through the history of country music! I wish there was more country music playing instead of dead silence is most of the areas.
