De route begint in Athene en steekt het Kanaal van Korinthe over, door de Golf van Korinthe om bij Mycene aan te komen. Hier kunnen reizigers de expeditie naar Troje herbeleven in Mycene, het koninkrijk van Agamemnon en een UNESCO-werelderfgoed. Daarna bezoeken we Nafplio en waarderen de Venetiaanse architectuur langs de smalle straatjes voordat we aankomen in Epidaurus. Laat u betoveren door het wereldberoemde theater, een van de meest populaire archeologische vindplaatsen in Griekenland en een monument dat op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Deze tour begint met een ritje over het kanaal van Korinthe, dat in 1893 werd aangelegd. Van bovenaf kun je genieten van het beste uitzicht op de landengte van Korinthe en de steile kalksteen bewonderen muren. 20 minuten bij het kanaal en 40 minuten rijden om onze volgende stop te bereiken
De volgende stop is Mycenae, waar je door de ruïnes van de citadel kunt wandelen en de trillingen van vroeger op de top van de heuvel kunt voelen klimmen. Je bezoekt de archeologische vindplaats, komt binnen via de Leeuwenpoort, ziet het koninklijk paleis en bewondert het prachtige uitzicht.
De schatkamer van Atreus of het graf van Agamemnon is een groot tholos- of bijenkorfgraf op de Panagitsa-heuvel in Mycene, gebouwd tijdens de bronstijd rond 1250 voor Christus.
Palamidi is een fort in de stad Nafplio in de regio Peloponnesos in het zuiden van Griekenland. Genesteld op de top van een 216 meter hoge heuvel, werd het fort gebouwd door de Venetianen tijdens hun tweede bezetting van het gebied (1686-1715).
Vrije tijd om door de winkels van de stad te slenteren, waar u handgemaakte souvenirs voor uw familie/vrienden kunt kopen en ook vrije tijd voor de lunch. 1 uur en 30 minuten vrije tijd in Nafplio en 30 minuten rijden om onze volgende stop te bereiken
Het heiligdom is het vroegst georganiseerde sanatorium en is belangrijk vanwege zijn associatie met de geschiedenis van de geneeskunde, en levert het bewijs van de overgang van het geloof in goddelijke genezing naar de wetenschap van de geneeskunde.

Het museum staat bekend om zijn reconstructies van tempels en zijn zuilen. 30 minuten in het museum en ongeveer 2 uur rijden om terug te keren naar Athene.

This was the worst private tour that I had ever booked with Viator. The driver had a dearth of knowledge that he shared with us. Totally a disaster- would do better by hiring a Uber driver. Don’t waste your time or money in this tour. Also Viator doesn’t stand behind their bookings. Avoid at all cost- try a different tour group.

Although they will not enter the sites with you, they can answer your questions about the places you visit with this tour". Our driver is a professional with many years of experience and has provided this tour many times with exceptional reviews. In addition, you could optionally book a licensed tour guide to accompany you to the sites, but we did not receive such a request. This is also explicitly stated on our product page. Concluding, our opinion is that if you had read carefully the details of the product you purchased, your review would be more accurate and would have helped other travelers. We try very hard to provide best-in-class services and we think this is not an indicative review for our services. Your problem from the beginning was the cost and you were negative during the whole tour. You could have made a different choice as you knew the price when booking this product. This was actually our 2nd private transfer with LS tours during our time in Greece. We were greeted with the best tour guide around, Alex, who shared his knowledge that brought the beautiful scenery of antiquity to life. We had another wonderful meal with recommendation by Alex with wonderful views of Nafplio with a gelato treat to end! Although we had seen Alex 2 days prior in the same vehicle, he greeted us on this day with a spotless vehicle and provided waters! Alex knew all of the special places to show us on the journey that I'm not sure just any tour guide would know. LS tours is certainly top notch.

This is the 3rd tour I’ve booked with LS Tours and the experience has always been great. Good communication and quick replies to queries. (We wanted to adjust the itinerary and they were very accommodating and made helpful suggestions so we could get the most from the tour.) The tour was brilliant we were lucky with exceptional weather, and Alex, our driver would drop us at the entrance and was there to pick us up.
