Ervaar de ervaring van het winkelen van verse groenten en fruit op een open fruitmarkt zoals de Grieken dat doen. Leer hoe u traditionele recepten kookt onder leiding van een professionele chef-kok met behulp van de bijna vergeten methode van de houtoven. Loop door de ruïnes van onze familie-olijfperserij, in onze olijfgaard en ervaar een olijfolieproeverij. Geniet van een heerlijke maaltijd in een rustige omgeving en ervaar de complete ervaring van een dag doorbrengen als onderdeel van een Grieks gezin.

The cooking classes and olive oil tasting was the highlight of our holidays in Corfu! Very friendly people from the host ,chef and staff,they all made us feel very welcome in their home. With their warm behaviour they made us feel like members of their family! The preparation,olive oil tour was great but the traditional Greek lunch was out of this world! This activity is highly recommended if you want to experience the genuine Greek hospitality. Congrats to all the staff,you have done an excellent job!
While the activities were great, the host was uncomfortable touchy with girls that were both a lot younger than him and in relationships, often holding their shoulders or holding them by their hips. This was incredibly uncomfortable and undesirable from a host.

Regarding your complaint of the host being"unccorfatble touchy"with girls,we would like to inform you that in Greece to touch someone on the shoulder is considered as a gesture of frinedship and kindness,not a touchy behaviour! Furthermore,nobody never,ever made a gesture to another part of your body! This would be definetely inapropriate and far of the limits of the professional behaviour we all in our company have and is 100% against our spirit and manners! Perhaps in your country,Japan,touching someone on the shoulder is an indication of the behaviour you described. We apologize for not knowing this individuality of(some or all) Japanese people. However,it is very strange that all the other female participants,from USA,England and Croatia,also accompanied by their male companions,received the same friendly and welcoming attitude exaxtly like yourself. Not only they were not offended or bothered,they applaud our warm behaviour for making them feel like home and they rated us with FIVE STARS. As we were not aware of the specific individuality that is exceeds the Japanese frames of good behaviour,you should be also informed what "friendly and welcoming" behaviour means for not only the Greek people but for most of the European and American people. It is the first time that we receive such an offensive review and it is turning against not only our company but against my family and the values we have passed to our children.Perhaps you should have considered it more thoroughly before upoading it. Such a special and memorable experience with Yorgos’ cooking class and olive oil tasting tour! We loved starting with a visit to the local market, which gave us an authentic glimpse into Corfu’s food culture and traditions. We chose fresh local ingredients and prepared simple and delicious dishes with just a few quality ingredients. Learning about their olive oil production and the care behind their oil was a highlight. Yorgos and his staff were sincere, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, they made the whole experience so personal and genuine. This has been very unique and niche experience, far beyond a typical tourist activity. I’d also love to try their other activities, especially their hiking and kayaking experiences, if I had more time in Corfu.

After finding the perfect produce from the open market and procuring a few speciality items from local shops, your group is invited into George’s beautiful countryside home. You cook in the families outside kitchen which over looks a small village nestled on an olive farm. From using grandma’s mortar and pestle to sitting down and enjoying the labor of love- your experience is complete and framed with perfection.

An absolutely amazing experience! Much more than a cooking class, it was a lesson in Greek culture and history as well. We were warmly welcomed into the family home and had hands on participation with shopping and cooking followed by a delicious lunch. Recipes were provided as well. I can’t wait to try this at home! What a fun (and tasty) way to experience Corfu! George and his family are incredibly friendly and accommodating and it was a unique way to experience this gorgeous island. George offered a lot by way of history and culinary traditions and the food was absolutely delicious!

If you love food and you love yourself you have to go see George and his family in Corfu. Communication was excellent, transportation was easy and the food preparation/dining experience was A++++ Shopping in the market for fresh ingredients, going to the house to prepare it and then having George’s chef cook the food ended with an exquisite dining experience that will be hard to beat anywhere in the world. George keeps the groups small so everyone has a chance to participate in the chopping, stirring and mashing. All the while sharing the history of Corfu - we cannot recommend George more highly. He made us feel like family and treated us to an authentic Greek meal. Well done and thank you again George!

This cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Yorgos and Lola made us feel so welcomed — like we were part of their family. The cooking class and olive oil tasting was held at the family villa and was absolutely beautiful. The class was fun, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable. We learned so much about local foods, and every dish we made was absolutely delicious! I would 100% recommend this cooking class to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable, and warm experience.
