We ontmoeten elkaar en beginnen onze tour bij Conwy Visitor Centre, 19 Rose Hill St (tegenover The Erskine pub). Dit is de grootste souvenirwinkel in Conwy.
We bezoeken de historische marktplaats Lancaster Square en het standbeeld van Llywelyn de Grote
Dit is een plek waar de buzz van Conwy afneemt naar een meer ontspannen tempo. Delen van de 12e-eeuwse abdij die ooit op deze plek stond, zijn nu geïntegreerd in dit charmante historische gebouw. I believe our tour guides name was James, he was so polite and lovely. Me and my Brother had a wonderful experience with him and he explained everything so nicely and detailed. I definitely recommend for someone who loves history and learning about new things.

I really enjoyed learning the history of Conwy castle and town. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was patient with myself and tired children. There was only us on the tour so he took the time to listen about my children's interests and showed us a couple places that they would enjoy because of these. I loved learning about king Edward and the origins of the castle the most.

Just completed the Conwy town and castle exterior open group tour with official guide. I would highly recommend this tour as a small and very informative snap shot of Conwys historic town and magnificent castle. We had a wonderful 1 hour plus tour with James, a retired history teacher, who took us around to the outside of many places and wove together stories of people, places and history. I am so glad we did this before touring the castle and manor house as he gave great context to both. We were lucky enough to have just the three of us on the tour, but it was an easy walk and well worth the time and the admission fee.
