Nadat de overheid en de privésector geïnvesteerd hadden in sociale en jeugdprogramma’s herwonnen de buurtbewoners en kunstenaars de wijken en droegen bij aan de wonderbaarlijke transformatie die we vandaag de dag zien, de straten gevuld met ongelooflijke straatkunst, muziek, straatartiesten, vele verrassingen. Een geweldige kans om de levendige straten in Comuna 13 te verkennen terwijl u lokale bewoners en kunstenaars ontmoet, een unieke culturele en onvergetelijke ervaring.

Comuna 13 Tour (Pazifistas)
De gidsen ontmoeten de gasten bij de hoofdingang van het metrostation POBLADO bij de hoofdkaartcabine. Vervolgens neemt de gids de gasten mee in de metro naar de kabelbanen voor een ritje omhoog met een fantastisch panoramisch uitzicht op Medellin. Absolutely recommended
We had a tour with Christian. It was incredibly interesting and Christian gave us a ton of information about the history of the comunas. Everything was perfectly organized. Christian spoke fluent English. We happened to be the only ones on the tour and that made it very personal. We can 100% recommend the tour and Christian.

Comuna 13 ... A Vibe in Medellín
Our tour guide Walter was extremely knowledgeable about Medellín and the Comuna 13 history. He was also very familiar with how to navigate public transportation to get to our destination and get back. Walter was informative and having him as our guide kept me from feeling overwhelmed with all the activity that goes on in Comuna 13 because it's certainly meant to be a tourist trap. I got to enjoy some sweet treats, do some good shopping, and take awesome photos with nice scenic views.

Great Experience
I really enjoyed all the history and colorful spots. We got to experience what residents live on a day by day basis. Cable Cord and Metro experience was amazing, but if you get claustrophobic, try to avoid this tour. You have to walk a lot but its totally worth it!!

Tour of Communa 13
A very insightful and enjoyable tour of how a communa in the hills of Medellin transformed itself. The guide provided many historical details on the struggles of the community against guerilla and paramilitary forces which ultimately led to an area that is quite lively, enjoyable and safe.

I had an amazing...
I had an amazing experience with my tour guide camillo. As someone who traveled solo I felt overly safe while touring. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Medellin. The only thing I would say is we didn't have the opportunity to take photos in front of the landmarks/ Columbia signs. But other than that greaattt tour. 10/10 recommend.

Must do in Medellin Comuna 13 with Camilo
Camilo is a fun-tactic guide. Knowledgeable and invested in helping his neighbors, neighborhood, and future generations. Evidently he is also the “unofficial” mayor of Comuna 13-greeted by children and adults alike everywhere we went. Trip involves all types of public transportation-which is truly amazingly well thought out, clean, and affordable. Lots of walking up and down steps, fantastic views, and lots of happy people abound. Music everywhere, blasting from scooters, windows, stores and ???? Highly recommend this tour.

Very interesting area and I loved the metro/skyway system Thank God the area has elevators. There is still a lot of uphill walking. The paintings are fantastic
