Combinatietour Rio Celeste en Sloth Sanctuary

Dit is de grootste kans om het prachtige regenwoud te bewonderen en te leren kennen, wilde dieren en zijn unieke gedrag te bewonderen! Tijdens deze excursie zal onze naturalistische Gids ook details geven over de geografie, cultuur, klimaat, biodiversiteit en geschiedenis over Guanacaste en Costa Rica! Zodra we beginnen met de wandeling in het regenwoud leer je over het gedrag en de verschillende relaties op weg naar Rio Celeste waterval te zien! Later geeft het luiaardreservaat de mogelijkheid om veel wild te zien zoals giftige kikkers, vogels, hagedissen, zoogdieren en meer dieren! Zodra we klaar zijn met deze gemakkelijke wandeling lunch en een vlindertuin zal onze volgende activiteit zijn. Op weg naar uw plaats een speciale stop doen winkelen en om de beste koffie en chocolade te proeven zal onze laatste stop van een natuurlijke en prachtige dag, omringd door de natuur zijn!

We vertrekken vroeg in de ochtend richting het dichtstbijzijnde tropische bos in het Guanacaste-gebied. Op weg naar onze bestemming is het (ongeveer 2 uur en 30 minuten) de terugreis zal logischerwijs even lang duren, de gids zal u voorzien van informatie over de geschiedenis, gewassen, klimaat en cultuur van Guanacaste en Costa Rica. In het gebied zal de eerste activiteit plaatsvinden in een heiligdom waar je vogels, kikkers, luiaards, apen en andere soorten in het gebied gaat observeren, die 1 uur en 30 minuten duurt. Je krijgt de gelegenheid om een wandeling te maken in het nationale park, waar je de kans krijgt om meer te weten te komen over de verschillende natuurlijke relaties in het bos tot het observeren van de Río Celeste-waterval, de enige in het land. 1 uur en 30 minuten later nemen we je mee om te genieten van een Costa Ricaanse lunch die voor je wordt geserveerd, waarbij je kunt genieten van de heerlijke smaak. Na de lunch, die 1 uur zal duren
We hebben paden in een primair en secundair bos waar we vogels, kikkers en insecten kunnen zien
Na de lunch wacht een naastgelegen vlinderboerderij op je om meer te leren over deze prachtige wezens.

This was a great trip for us - we were picked up by our guide (Dave) from our condo and he entertained and educated us for the entire day. He was a super guide on the hike to Celeste Falls and knew the answer to every question we asked. At the sloth walk we saw a large number of sloths - one even close enough to touch (which we did not do). For this tour we could basically pick what we wanted to do and how long we wanted to do it for - perfect for us - so we took our time when we wanted. An excellent day!!

Highly recommend this excursion! We had Duck as our tour guide and he was a wealth of information and very entertaining. We were able to see so much wildlife in the rainforest. Lunch was delicious. We enjoyed all parts of the tour - would recommend to anyone.

What can I say about that except he's absolutely fabulous. He knows his countries history where to go who to see the animals the plants he is just so very knowledgeable. He is also a gentleman and a comedian. He planned all our excursions and email me nightly to remind me where to be what time to be there and always checked in. Make sure we had a good time if he wasn't with us he's the best I will use him again and again and again.

We had a great experience with Duck. He was very knowledgeable. We got great pics of the animals, loved our hike to the waterfall and and a amazing taste of local cuisine. It was tour with just my family including two 19 year olds, who had a blast.

Our family of 4 (2 parents and 2 older teens) had a great time on this adventure. We got to hike, see the beautiful waterfall, had a delicious lunch with stunning butterflies and saw every animal we could have hoped for at the sanctuary! Highly recommend! Sergio was the best!

The tour guide,Duck or was it Doug? I couldn’t hear well in the back. He is very knowledgeable and is very professional. He mentions in there beginning to pace ourselves in order to conserve our energy. We had a private tour with ages as young as 2.5 year old to 68 years of age. Or day ended up being rain from morning till afternoon. The waterfall was a light blue-green so at least we got to see some color. It was beautiful but the 200 plus steps looked steep for my father and my 6 year old daughter. We were going to continue but wasn’t sure to with our little 2.5 year old. I think if the weather was nicer so that the steps weren’t wet we all would go down and take pictures. He let us know where the stops are for restrooms and where to get fruits and souvenirs. My parents interests are different from common western tourists . They enjoyed the waterfall but was hoping for a fruit marketplace (like a farmers market) to try out CR local exotic fruits that we don’t normally get to eat in the US! But nonetheless the tour was great. We saw snakes, sloth, many tropical fruits, bats, CR National bird. The lunch place was so cute and the food was authentic and flavorful. Butterfly mini farm was so cute the kids loved it! I think this was perfect for families not thrill seekers!! Pura Vida! Thank you for showing us beautiful Costa Rica!
