Rijd all-terrain voertuigen (ATV's) door mangrovesystemen, zandstranden en over rotsachtige heuvels. Deze professioneel geleide tour voert je door veel verschillende terreinen. Rijd door bossen en loop in slechts 20 minuten naar de gouden, ongerepte stranden van het vissersdorp Salmon Point. Beëindig je ervaring door te voldoen aan je honger naar avontuur met de reggae horseback tour, terwijl je door de Jamwest-accommodatie trekt, een reservaat, en vervolgens afkoelt op een privéstrand terwijl je in het water speelt.

Je ATV-avontuur begint met ophalen bij geselecteerde hotels in Negril. Bij aankomst wordt u begroet in het clubhuis met een restaurant, een cadeauwinkel en een bar. Na het ondertekenen van uw verklaring van afstand wordt u begeleid naar de ATV-garages. Zorg dat u helmen en een veiligheidsbril draagt om u te beschermen; het wordt een spannende rit door de elementen. Spring op voor enkele oefenrondes rond het trainingsgebied, u zult het besturen van het voertuig onder de knie krijgen voordat u eropuit trekt. Ervaring is niet nodig; ATV's zijn veilig en gemakkelijk te besturen. Ga op pad, op weg naar het vissersdorp in Salmon Point. Volg je gids door zanderige wasbeurten, over rotsachtige heuvels en door strengen winterharde mangroven. Vervolg uw dagavontuur door op een paard door het achterland van Jamaica te rijden dat uw zintuigen uitdaagt, met de paarden te spelen op een privéstrand voordat u terugkeert naar de stallen.

Jam west was a very nice experience. The staff was friendly and my two favorite things was the ATV course which was amazing! Very scenic and hills. The other is the horseback riding which was peaceful and we went in the water. Such a beautiful thing to do.
We loved our excursions. There ATVs were a blast. Riding horses in the ocean was very fun. There staff were very friendly. Thanks so much.
It was a wonderful experience and we didn’t have time in order to buy the photos, but we would like to find out how we would doso after our visit. We came on May 21 and we did zip line, ATV, and horseback riding. Tperricone@gmail.com
The activities were amazing! The ATV ride and horseback riding in the water were definitely highlights of the trip. Everyone was very friendly, informative, and welcoming. Our driver was fantastic — fun, energetic, and made the 3-hour drive from the resort feel like part of the experience itself. The only reason I would give a slightly lower rating is because when you have a private driver with a group of four, if some people finish their activities earlier, you still have to wait for everyone else before heading back to the resort. That can be frustrating, especially when you book an early 7:30 a.m. excursion hoping to return in time to enjoy the resort activities as well. Lastly, the food onsite was very good. I just wish the portions were a little bigger for the price. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth the money.
Jamwest was amazing!! I am so happy I went. However I expected horseback riding to be calm and a surreal experience one of the so called life guards kept encouraging the horses to go fast and jump in the water which made it scary for me… I just rather he did not do that he ruin that part for me.

Flight from Charlotte NC a little over 2.5 hrs. Getting thru immigration and Customs was easy. They have automated kiosks to check your passport. No lines. Never even had to show my passport to anyone. Customs was also easy. Make sure you complete the C5 form available on the Jamaica Immigration site prior to your trip. We went thru the lane that said "nothing to declare." Nobody looked at our bags ( we 2 carry ons each). We used Jamaica Tours Ltd for a shared van ride to Negril and separate review for that service is available.
The ATV ride was magnificent. I had never driven an ATV and the guide was patient and showed me what to do. He also took his time, and patiently waited for all of the drivers. We did make a stop. He told me it was for pictures but he didn’t take any pictures and we waited for him to talk to his buddies. The horseback ride was the best I had ever taken and I use to guide tours. I was able to ride alone with the guide and since I owned horse we cantered and galloped. It was an amazing experience and the guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. Overall the workers were rude. I wanted to buy a Tshirt but the driver said I didn’t have time because he wanted to take me to horseback riding. When we got back I asked to go to the Mineral Bath and the Avery. He was visibly upset. He said he’d take us but we had to be ready in 6 minutes. I wanted to buy a Tshirt since I had just my swimsuit on. He took us to the Mineral Bath and quickly gave a history and we went in. Ten minutes later he told us to get out because we had to get back for our ride to the hotel. We got back and I asked if I could buy a Tshirt and pictures and they literally pushed us out and gave us a trip advisor card to purchase our pictures with. Don’t they want to make money? After we got to the van to take us back to the hotel the driver for the park ran on to the bus and demanded a tip??? Rude! We are good tippers but if the service is bad; you don’t get a tip!
A must stop while in Jamaica! 🇯🇲 First time horseback riding and it was a wonderful experience. My guide Backpack 🎒 was the best!
