Vermijd de hitte overdag met de speciale Colosseum Night tour, inclusief de metro. Als we eenmaal in het Colosseum zijn lopen we dezelfde stappen als gladiatoren, keizers en gedoemde gevangenen. Bloeddorstige Romeinen verzamelden zich in dit oude stadion om dodelijke sporten en executies te bekijken, en ik zal elk bloederig detail uitleggen. Je verkent ongeveer 90 minuten de 1e en ondergrondse verdieping van het Colosseum.

The tour was broken up into two parts, a stroll through the streets leading up to the Colosseum for the first hour and half. This part was informative but not advertised. Some of the areas we reviewed had placards that provided details of what we were already looking at. This portion of the tour was uneventful. Once we arrived to the Colosseum the tour leader handed us off to a new Colosseum guide to continue the tour. This part was extremely valuable as it covered the exact narrative referenced in the tour description but was for a little over an hour. We were disappointed and were mislead that the Colosseum tour would be for the full 3 hour duration. Also not happy with the technical audio challenges that cut into the time. I do believe that the tour activity should be better written to include the walking portion so people won’t feel misled about the tour before booking. I believe there may be better valued tours to choose from that are of the Colosseum only for the 1.5 hour duration. A little overpriced and misleading tour description.

This was the highlight of our trip to Rome. We did a Colosseum Night Tour and Brent's exceptional knowledge of Roman History and details of the surrounding area were amazing. We walked past places that we had been past many times and Brent stopped to point out small details we never noticed and explained their significance. This is something that you cannot get just walking around Rome on your own. If you are hesitant to take a guided tour take one with him and it will change your mind. Knowledgeable, well spoken and entertaining. It will make you wish you had him at all times while in Rome.
We (family of 4) booked the Colosseum and Ancient City tour with Brent and can highly recommend it! Brent is very knowledgeable and guided us with lots of passion trough the historic sites of Rome. We enjoyed the 3 hours very much - in fact Brent has probably been the best tour guide we ever had. In contrast to many others guides he explains things lively, rich and colourful which makes historic events exciting - even for our children, who weren’t very enthusiastic before taking the tour.
The tour was insightful, well organized, and the perfect size to be able to ask questions and move along at a comfortable pace. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique tour.
Brent was the absolute BEST tour guide we had during entire trip in Italy. Everything was well organized. He knew anything and everything about the Coloseeum. The tour was very informative, but he also kept it really interesting with unique stories about the Coloseeum/ancient city. We had an awesome time during this tour, and learned a lot too! Definitely would recommend this to everyone.
Brent’s tour was by far one of the highlights of our visit to Rome. His humanistic approach to the history lessons were so enjoyable, and gave us a passion for the city he clearly loves so much. We would recommend this tour, and any tour with him to anyone visiting Rome.

It’s been about a year since we went to Italy. It was the first overseas trip for our two teenage boys and they loved it! We did a lot and we learned a lot especially on our guided tour of the Colosseum with Brent. He was knowledgeable, prepared and patient with our questions. Beyond that he had a good sense of humor which made the time even more fun. I highly recommend taking some time to tour the city with Brent!
