De ondergrondse tour door het Colosseum is een must voor liefhebbers van geschiedenis, een geweldige kans om een stap terug in de tijd te nemen en getuige te zijn van de verborgen gebieden van een van 's werelds meest iconische oude bouwwerken. Deze tour biedt een unieke, meeslepende ervaring in de oude geschiedenis van Rome. Bezoekers kunnen delen van het Colosseum verkennen die doorgaans niet toegankelijk zijn voor het grote publiek, waardoor u een beter inzicht krijgt in de architectuur en de historische betekenis van het monument. We bezoeken niet alleen de ondergrondse gebieden van het Colosseum, maar lopen ook naar de Colosseum Arena waar ooit veldslagen plaatsvonden. Dit is een rondleiding die niet alleen het Colosseum betreedt, maar ook de beperkte gebieden van de ondergrondse Colosseum en het Arena-podium. In de beperkte gebieden van het ondergrondse Colosseum werden de dieren gehouden en door slaven naar het podium getild om het publiek te verbazen. Na de underground volgt ons bezoek op het Arena-podium. Onze tour eindigt in dit prachtige monument om je vervolgens de kans te geven vrij rond te dwalen door de gewone gebieden.

This is the tour. Starts downstairs underneath the floor to see how things worked, then up to the floor, then up to the top. Tour guide Renata was extremely informative and tireless in very hot weather.

Our family (six people) had a private tour of the Colosseum Underground, Roman Forum and the Palatine hill palace area. This was the highlight of our Italy trip by far. Renata was our tour guide. We, and others in our party, thought that the Colosseum Underground tour was going to be at the time we booked. However, we had a tour of the Roman Forums for almost 2 hours before the underground tour. Then, we only had 40 minutes to experience the tour and were completely rushed by the Colosseum staff. Sabrina, our tour guide, was phenomenal and very knowledgeable on the roman history

Ranata was patient and great tour guide. She knew how to convey the architecure and history of the colosseum and forum. She ensured we covers everything with closer to 3.5 hours !
This by far was the best thing we did in Rome. Our tour guide renata was amazing and provided us with so much history. She took her time to answer my 1000 questions and stopped endlessly so we can capture all of our amazing photos recapping the day. Highly recommend!
What an amazing tour we had with renata of the colosseum in rome, she was everything you could ask for in a guide, she literally new everything and was very passionate about what she does, and she was so friendly and welcoming, me and my family can't thank you enough for this wonderful exsperience. 😊
We really enjoyed this tour. Renata is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We took the tour with our 3 children (10,8 and 1) and the older children were enthralled. The temperature in Rome has been very high but this did not detract from the tour and our enjoyment of it. Would highly recommend.
