Het stadhuis van Colombo is het hoofdkantoor van de gemeenteraad van Colombo en het kantoor van de burgemeester van Colombo. Het werd gebouwd en geopend op 9 augustus 1928 en werd formeel geopend door de gouverneur Sir Herbert Stanley KCMG. zijn kloon van stijl Capitol Building in Washington, D. C.
Independence Memorial Hall is een nationaal monument in Sri Lanka gebouwd ter herdenking van de onafhankelijkheid van Sri Lanka van de Britse overheersing met het herstel van de volledige regeringsverantwoordelijkheid voor een Ceylonese gekozen wetgevende macht op 4 februari 1948.

Galle Face is een stedelijk park aan zeezijde van 5 ha, dat zich 500 m langs de kust uitstrekt, in het hart van Colombo. De promenade werd aanvankelijk aangelegd in 1859 door gouverneur Sir Henry George Ward, hoewel de oorspronkelijke Galle Face Green zich uitstrekte over een veel groter gebied dan tegenwoordig wordt gezien.
Sri Wickrama Rajasinhe, de koning van Kandyan Kindgdom werd op 18 februari 1815 in Medamahanuwara gevangengenomen door de Britten nadat zijn eigen functionarissen, waaronder Eheylapola Maha Adhikaram, zich bij de Britten voegden om Kandy te helpen veroveren. De gevangengenomen koning werd vervoerd naar de Colombo; wat toen de hoofdstad was die door de Britten werd gebruikt. Hij werd opgesloten in een aparte gevangeniscel; beide om rebellie te voorkomen en als voorbeeld voor het publiek te dienen. De gevangeniscel was een piepkleine vierkante ruimte met net nauwelijks genoeg ruimte om op volle lengte te liggen tijdens het slapen. Nadat hij kort op deze plaats was vastgehouden, werd de koning overgebracht naar de Vellore-gevangenis in India
De toren werd gebouwd als een klokkentoren in 1856-57 en voltooid op 25 februari 1857. Oude Colombo-vuurtoren of Colombo Fort Clock Tower is een klokkentoren en was een vuurtoren in Colombo. De vuurtoren is niet langer operationeel, maar de toren blijft en functioneert als een klokkentoren. Het is gelegen op de kruising van Chatham Street en Janadhipathi Mawatha (voorheen Queens Road) in het fort van Colombo.
Colombo Lighthouse is een vuurtoren in Colombo in Sri Lanka en wordt beheerd en onderhouden door de Sri Lanka Ports Authority. Het is gelegen op Galbokka Point ten zuiden van de haven van Colombo aan de waterkant langs de maritieme oprit, in het fort van Colombo

We were done in less than 2 hours and at the airport in 2.5 hours, which is half the time of the 5 hour tour advertised. I would’ve given it a one star but since the driver was really nice, hence I gave it two stars.
Thank you for booking with us and for your feedback. We would like to clarify that our chauffeur took you to all the locations included in the tour itinerary. However, some attractions required entry tickets, and you chose not to visit those sites. As a result, the tour duration became shorter than originally scheduled. Since additional time was available, our chauffeur kindly offered to take you to Negombo City tour as an alternative destination, even though it is not included in this tour package. This offer was declined. Following your request, the chauffeur then dropped you at the airport earlier than the scheduled tour end time. We always strive to provide the best possible service and flexibility to our guests while ensuring the tour is conducted according to the agreed itinerary.

Sightseeing in Colombo to and from the airport is available using transit time at Bandaranaike International Airport. If I asked them, they would incorporate it and come up with a course. Our driver didn't seem to be a guide, he just took us to sightseeing spots with little commentary at the temple. I'm not very good at English, so it's good to think that I'd feel bad if it was explained carefully in English, but I felt a little unsatisfactory, so I lost one star. The driver was good-natured and safe to drive.
Terrible. While the person who was interacting with us and the driver were polite, this tour went awful for a number of reasons. 1- 500ml water bottles were part of the deal. Not a single bottle was provided despite my ask. Had to buy water myself at one of the grocery stores near to end of my trip. 2- Distance from Airport to Colombo city and back is approx 40 minutes which is included in the tour so effective tour is for 3 hrs or 3 hrs and 30 mins max. 3- Driver took us to none of the places mentioned in the itinerary. Was (apparently) driving too slow to complete the "5" hours. Since we only had a layover for 10 hours in Colombo, our internet was not working and we couldn't verify. Ended up spending trapped in traffic jam at Beach park and rest of the time on the road.
Thank you for your review. It makes us to correct our mistakes. I apologize if you did not get the water butte. Distance and traffic, internet and flight time checking are not our control. Also, the tour is clearly mentioned 5 hours. So, your extra layover time we cannot take responsibility. In Sri Lanka we have regulation from Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, the chauffer cannot do ruff driving. It will be risk for traveler. Safety is fest for us. Finaly, most of the complins are not in our control and apologies for you inconvenient and thank you for booking with us.

Munir was an excellent host. For a half day layover, the tour could not have gone any better. We arrived with a feeling of excitement and left with a feeling of fulfillment and a desire to come back and visit again. Munir's hospitality was unmatched. Thank you for an amazing layover tour!
There are no trains from Bandaranaike Airport to Colombo city, and it seems difficult to get a bus, so I was afraid to travel alone as a woman, so I took this tour. In the end, I'm really glad I took the tour. Even if it was not included in the tour, they would take me there if I requested. I was able to experience an Ayurvedic massage and a supermarket. The guide was very kind and friendly, so I was able to enjoy the trip with peace of mind. I was able to get to the airport with plenty of time to spare. However, the jewelry store we stopped at on the way had a slightly scary atmosphere. However, when I said I wanted to go home, the guide responded quickly and I was safe. The curry I had for breakfast was very delicious. I would like to ask for a guide again when I come to Sri Lanka.

Prior to arrival, the communication was very smooth and effective, we were provide with enough information upon our arrival. During our 8hours transit, we were able to have a quick tour around the city and see some important sites. Picked up and dropped off at the airport on time. Overall a professional and satisfying service.
