De Colca-kloof is de diepste van de wereld en echt een ongelooflijke site. Deze tour is een geweldige ontsnapping uit de stad en biedt reizigers de mogelijkheid om de Andes-cultuur te ervaren. Hieronder volgt een algemene schets van onze volledige dagtour. · U wordt tussen 3:00 en 3:30 uur opgehaald bij uw hotel of hostel en rijdt in noordelijke richting naar Chivay, waar u een eenvoudig ontbijt nuttigt. · We rijden vervolgens in westelijke richting naar het Condor Cross op de rand van de Colca-kloof. Je hebt een uur om van de uitzichten te genieten en condors te zoeken. · We gaan terug naar Chivay en maken haltes bij Antawilke om de pre-Inca-terrassen, een klein koloniaal stadje genaamd Maca, en de bronnen van de Yanque te zien om een uur in de hete baden te baden. · Bij aankomst op Chivay stoppen we bij een lokaal restaurant om een lunchbuffet te nuttigen. · Vervolgens gaan we terug richting Arequipa en maken onderweg twee laatste stops bij Patapama en de Salinas en Aguada Blanca National Reserve. · Je wordt rond 17.30 uur bij je hotel afgezet.

Je hebt de mogelijkheid om foto's te maken en te genieten van het uitzicht op het Andesgebergte vanaf ongeveer 4900 meter.
Reizigers krijgen de kans om te stoppen en Alpacas en Vicuñas in hun natuurlijke habitat te zien. Ook kunnen reizigers met een beetje geluk de Andesvossen en andere dieren in het wild zien.
Je hebt een uur om het Condor Cross-uitkijkpunt te nemen om langs de rand van de Colca-kloof te lopen en naar de condors van de Andes te kijken! Er is een condor nesting site in de buurt en het is gebruikelijk om verschillende condors tegelijk boven de canyon te zien vliegen.

We halen klanten om 3 uur 's nachts op van hotels en hostels in het centrum van Arequipa. We kunnen je ook ophalen van Arequipa's Plaza de Armas als je hotel, hostel of Airbnb niet in het centrum van de stad ligt.

Departure at 3 AM, return at 5 PM. Very long trips compared to the stops, especially since we had booked an experience in a "small group," only to find ourselves with 31 people in a regular bus... Breakfast and lunch were quite decent, the guide was nice but recited, condors were very present (phew!).
An excellent tour and an outstanding guide! Paola put a tremendous amount of effort into making this day as memorable as possible. Throughout the tour, she shared a wealth of information about the local wildlife, explaining the differences between many animal species and helping us better understand the region. What impressed me most was her dedication to the group. She guided the tour in two languages, clearly explained the itinerary, and provided helpful advice for dealing with the high altitude, especially since the tour reaches nearly 5,000 meters above sea level. The timing of the tour was perfect. Thanks to the excellent organization, we had the opportunity to see the magnificent condors in flight, which was one of the highlights of the day. Paola actively approached people in the group, pointed out where to look, and helped everyone spot the wildlife and enjoy the experience. Even though the weather was not ideal during part of the tour, we were kept informed and introduced to alternative attractions, ensuring the day remained enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour, and special thanks to Paola for her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for the group.
The tour price is very attractive, but you get what you pay for: 1. The description states that the group size is a maximum of 18 people, but in reality there were over 25 people on the tour. 2. The tour is much longer than advertised. It was described as 13+ hours, but actually lasted over 15 hours. We started at 3:00 a.m. and only arrived back in Arequipa around 5:00 p.m. 3. Breakfast and lunch were included, and both were very good. 4. As English-speaking tourists, we had difficulty understanding the tour guide’s explanations.
Best tour of Arequipa! A full-day visit to the Canyon Del Colca is spectacular. A rich and lush experience thanks to the viewpoints with stunning views, high altitude and the view from close to the imposing condors.
Super Tour Tracy (our guide) showed us a lot and knows the area very well.
Great tour, guide was very knowledgeable, breakfast and lunch were great and the scenery fantastic. There were other options during the hot springs so we did the Zipline and loved it. We also did the optional hike along the canyon rim and enjoyed that as well, not too difficult and a nice way to get away from the crowd of tourists at the main viewpoint.
We were lucky enough to see so many condors which was the highlight. The other stops and the meals were also great. Tracy was a great guide. Whole trip was great value for money and highly recommended

It was such an amazing experience. The scenery along the way was incredible and upon arrival everything was beautiful. Our guide Nelson was very nice and knowledgeable. He made the trip entertaining
