Naar de koffieregio komen, is jezelf in verbinding laten met de natuur. Als dit is wat je zoekt, ga dan met ons mee op deze 6-uur durende tour door de Cocora-vallei en het imposante open veld, de thuisbasis van de waspalm. Maak een wandeling door enkele van de bergen, leer over de nationale boom en over de Colombiaanse koffieteeltcultuur en sluit je dag af met een smaakvolle en bescheiden lokale maaltijd (niet inbegrepen). Vanaf het begin zult u gemakkelijk hoge en prachtige waspalmbomen waarderen: onze nationale emblematische boom, die ecologisch en populair is voor de regio en het land.
Cocora Valley, in Salento (een van de plaatsen die tot de koffiedriehoek behoren), is een van de weinige toegangsgebieden tot het Los Nevados National Natural Park, een ecologisch beschermd park met besneeuwde bergtoppen. Bovendien werd de vallei door UNESCO beschouwd als een cultureel koffielandschap van Colombia.
Salento en de Cocora-vallei laten je hun beste natuurlijke plekjes zien, samen met hun traditionele koffieboerderijen en de warme mensen die voor het gebied zorgen. Het is een geweldige combinatie. Absolutely BREATHTAKING worth every sweat drop. A must when visiting el Eje Cafetero. The hike to the observation points can get a bit steep at times but it’s SOOOO worth it. Highly recommended!

Cocora Valley lives to its name, definitely is one of the most memorable places that we've visited. Hot Springs in Santa Rosa by the incredible water falls is also world class. Of course, our guide David Alvarez is the best tour guide, we've seen them all, we ever had. It has been a truly amazing experience with David. We saw natural wonders together and thanks to his help we got to learn a lot more about the details and the true story of all the places we visited. AMAZING from start to finish!! We were picked up from our hotel and our driver Gustavo was so friendly and made us feel right at home! Jazmin, our tour guide was awesome- even brought coffee with her in a thermos for us to have during the hike! She seemed to have a great relationship with all the locals and she explained everything thoroughly and was super fun to spend the day with! We lucked out and had amazing weather, so the photos we took don’t even look real! I’d absolutely recommend this tour if you want a great time! We saw Cocora Valley, rode a Willy, and saw Salento! MUST SEE!!

This is a great tour! David is an amazing tour guide! He did a remarkable job! We learned a lot from him on this tour. Cocora Valley is very beautiful! The coffee tour was fun and very interesting! Gustavo from the coffee farm did a great job as well! We picked up few coffee beans from the trees & they showed us how to make a perfect coffee! I couldn't ask for more from David and Gustavo! I would definitely recommend both of them to anyone! This is an unforgettable experience in Colombia!
