Naar de Koffieregio komen betekent dat je in verbinding bent met de natuur. Als dit is wat je zoekt, ga dan met ons mee op deze 6-uur durende tour door de Cocora-vallei en het imposante open veld, de thuisbasis van de waspalm. Bewandel enkele van de bergen, leer over de nationale boom en over de Colombiaanse koffiecultuurcultuur (geen bezoek aan een koffieboerderij) en sluit uw dag af met een smaakvolle en eenvoudige lokale maaltijd (niet inbegrepen). Cocora Valley, in Salento (een van de plaatsen die tot de koffiedriehoek behoren), is een van de weinige toegangsgebieden tot het Los Nevados National Natural Park, een ecologisch beschermd park met besneeuwde bergtoppen. Bovendien werd de vallei door UNESCO beschouwd als een cultureel koffielandschap van Colombia.

Vanaf het allereerste begin zult u gemakkelijk grote en prachtige waspalmbomen waarderen: onze nationale symbolische boom, die ecologisch en populair is voor de regio en het land. Je krijgt de kans om een ritje te maken in een traditionele Willys-auto, de oude jeeps die door koffietelers werden gebruikt om zichzelf over wilde wegen en van boerderij naar boerderij te vervoeren.

Beautiful and unique experience in the valley of the cocora with the wonderful and prepared guide of Nicolaj and the driver Brian, both very kind and friendly. Excellent day including lunch in a typical Salento surrounded by nature and animals and birds of all kinds. Highly recommended!

Yaz was an absolutely incredible guide! She was knowledgeable, professional, but most of all, she was friendly. By the end of the day, she was like a member of the family. She had a great itinerary and organized our transportation from our hotel in Pereira as well as our meals during this amazing day. The tour she took us on of the Cocora Valley was gorgeous and is a must-see for anyone visiting this region of Colombia. The landscape is unlike any you've visited before. The town of Salento is colorful and friendly as well.

The tour was amazing - Andres was an incredible tour guide and we learned so much from him! Daniel, our driver, was super friendly and a very good driver in busy traffic conditions. We really appreciated Andres reaching out to suggest an earlier start so that we didn’t get stuck in the traffic. That was a life saver and we are so grateful that we listened to him as otherwise we would have wasted a lot of time in traffic. It was a great tour of the Cocora valley and Salento, and we even squeezed in extra stop for a local lunch. 10/10 recommend!
