Our coasteering adventure was the highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. Our guide Peter was fantastic! I felt very safe and even did the final highest jump of the day. It was such a blast! My son and I will never forget this experience. Thank you!
This was quite honestly the best thing I have done for years. The guides were class, the jumps were amazing and swimming through "Choppy Valley" felt like an achievement in itself. We had a mixed group of abilities - and everyone loved it and only did as much as they were comfortable with. We went in March, which got me so much stick from the rest of the group before as jumping into the sea in a cold Scottish March time sounds miserable - but the wet suits were so warm and thick the cold waters made no difference - and everyone absolutely loved it. I will be going back.
From nine year old. This experience was so fun! funnest thing on my vacation so far and that includes the Taylor Swift concert! Ross was so cool. And I loved all the cliff jumping.
My wife and I had an amazing time coasteering with Peter! He was a fantastic guide. This was our first time and we had a ton of fun! We did many cliff jumps of varying heights, swam, and trekked along the beautiful coastline. Gorgeous location. We would 100% recommend!

There are not enough stars in the sky to give this a proper rating! Ross was a professional, knowledgeable and friendly guide. Shell Beach coastline was an incredible experience for us adventurers that had never been coasteering before. An absolute great way to spend a day away from the city- rain or shine.
We had a fantastic time coasteering. Our family spent 16 days touring across the UK (and Ireland) and this was one of the highlights. We spent time hiking, walking through caves and jumping off cliffs. Ross was a great tour guide and we connected with the family in our group. We also learned some interesting things about Scotland. Just FYI, bathroom breaks are few and far between, and it’s a good idea to pack your own lunch, though we did stop at a pastry shop as well as a small coffee shop. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend!
We brought 55 people from Canada, the US, France and Israel to Edinburgh for our incredible destination wedding. Offered the Coasteering day trip with Intrepidus as one of several pre-ceremony activities. Our group of 12 had an absolutely fantastic time, and our guides Ross and Mikey were awesome! Highly recommend!!! Will definitely do more with Intrepidus when back in Scotland!
All good . Mikey met us on time and was friendy and informative. Mikey gave the children and adults confidence especially jumping into sea from the rocks.
Ross was fabulous! Was a trip with just our teenagers and he made it exciting and fun. Highly recommend this trip
