Maak een dagtocht in de natuur en kom wandelen in het laatste nevelwoud aan de kust van Ecuador. Tijdens deze privétour van 9-10 uur naar de Bucay Mountains nemen we je mee naar verschillende soorten bomen, planten en met een beetje geluk kun je enkele van de meest representatieve vogels van dit natuurgebied zien. Je zult 3 watervallen kennen, zoals de "Iabela" van 295ft, de hoogste in Bucay. en neem een verfrissende douche onder elke waterval die je gaat bezoeken. Ook kent u de trapiche, het is een zeer oude traditionele activiteit voor de mensen die in de Bucay-bergen wonen. • De tour is inclusief privévervoer vanaf uw locatie op Guayaquil • Geniet van een traditionele lokale lunch. • Geniet van de persoonlijke ervaring van een privétour. • Geniet van de natuur en neem een douche onder watervallen

De tour begint in Guayaquil, om 8 uur vanaf uw locatie, en we brengen u om ongeveer 2 uur naar de stad Bucay.
wanneer je naar Bucay komt, kun je het natuurlandschap zien, een groene plek en bergen eromheen. we beginnen met de auto tot de top van de berg op 4 200 ft. Op de route zie je de rivieren, planten en ken je een lokale boerderij, hier geniet je van de traditionele trapiche (perssuikerrietmachine)
Als je een natuurliefhebber bent, dan weten we zeker dat je deze dagtour door het nevelwoud en de watervallen leuk zult vinden. Wanneer we bij het bos aankomen, beginnen we aan de wandeling door natuurlijke paden, je zult veel typische planten van een nevelwoud, verschillende soorten bomen en veel soorten vogels kunnen observeren, je zult ook 3 watervallen "Las Mellizas" kennen van 45m (135 ft) hier heb je even de tijd om onder water te douchen. We gaan verder met de wandeling naar de tweede en derde waterval, genaamd "Chorrera del Amor" 30 m (120 ft.) hoog en "Isabela" 295 ft (de hoogste waterval in Bucay). Je hebt tijd om bij de grootste waterval van Bucay te komen en veel foto's te maken van de herinnering aan je reis. Bij het verlaten van het bos met transport komen we aan bij het traditionele restaurant en serveren we u een lokale lunch voordat we terugkeren naar Guayaquil, waar we om ongeveer 18:00 uur aankomen en we u bij uw hotel achterlaten.

My friend and I are both retired. We really enjoyed the pace of our trip. The hike was beautiful and reasonable. We saw many beautiful flowers and water falls. We felt safe with our drivers and well cared for. We ground sugar cane, ate a good lunch, saw many nice views, took a hundred photos and returned back to our hotel.
Actually, I didn't go on this trip - but exchanged the experience for a half-day Guayaquil city tour instead (the flexibility on the part of the tour company was good, although contact was rather late). My guide was Simon (Monoloco) and even though it was a Monday and many of the more usual city sites were closed, I got a very good sense of the city and some of its key sites. Simon took me to several high points in the city for panoramic views - one that we drove to and one that we climbed 444 steps to (plus the lighthouse). We also visited the iguana park, the riverfront promenade and a coffee museum. He located a simple but nyummy vegetarian restaurant to cater to my dietary preferences. He has an extensive knowledge of the area - historical, socioeconomic and natural. Ask for Simon - he immediately makes you feel at home and at ease.

Noe is beyond awesome. He speaks Spanish and English. We had so much fun and learned a great deal. I would recommend the Bucay waterfall trip to anyone that wants a little adventure. We went on a weekday so there was no one except us there which was quite nice. Excellent and quick communication with pick-up as well

I love insects. We chose this tour because we hoped to get to a rainforest in Ecuador and be able to hunt for bugs at our own pace without slowing others down. Our day was absolutely wonderful. We saw so much of the city and countryside, (along with interesting insight into the everyday lives of people living here) on the way to our cloud forest. Once we arrived we did a beautiful hike to many spectacular waterfalls AND our guide, Noe, was so good at letting us look for bugs on the way. He was also really good at finding them for us. It was a perfect day.

Very disappointed to say the least! Arrived quite late last night after a long flight, then woke up early and waited for a no show tour! And called numerous times while waiting, and nobody answered the phone from the local vendor- Bucay Tour Adventure.

We had a fantastic cloud tour. Our guide Wilson was fantastic. Personable, Very knowlegable. The cloud forest was beautiful. We also got to stop and sample different types of bananas and fermented fruit drinks. Lunch was at a fantastic open air side of the road cafe, the food was amazing. Got to sample local ice cream. Very cool experience.

The falls, the hiking, the fruit tasting on the way to the rain forest, the lunch, the company of the other two Americans, but above the incredible guide, Wilson. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful in climbing all those wet huge rocks.
