We purchased tickets for a Royal-City Hop On Hop Off bus in Copenhagen at the cruise port during our NCL cruise stop. Once we got off the bus at the stop at Tivoli Garden, we were never able to find a bus to hop back on at other spots shown on the brochure/map. We sat at one stop for 45 minutes and didn't see one Royal-City bus, while three Red buses went by. We finally saw a Rayal-City bus at stop 12, but it didn't even slow down and just kept going. The map didn't show addresses for the stops and there were no signs indicating where exactly the stops were. Choose other Hop on Hop Off options which was also available at the port, public transportation or a taxi. Don't waste your money on this company's service.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience with the City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus in Copenhagen. The route covered many of the city's major attractions and was an excellent way to get an overview of Copenhagen, especially on our first day. The onboard commentary was informative, engaging, and available in multiple languages. The narration was clear and easy to understand, and we learned many interesting facts about the city's history, architecture, and landmarks. Our only frustration was finding the correct boarding location to begin the tour. While the map identified landmarks and stop numbers, it did not provide the actual street addresses or precise pickup locations. We initially went to Stop 3 based on the information we had, only to discover that the bus was not stopping there that day. It took quite a bit of time and effort to locate an active stop, which was especially challenging after arriving from an international flight. Adding street addresses or GPS coordinates for each stop—and clearly identifying any temporary stop closures—would make the experience much easier for first-time visitors. Once we found the correct stop, however, the rest of the day was excellent. We enjoyed the tour, appreciated the knowledgeable commentary, and would recommend it to anyone wanting an easy and informative way to explore Copenhagen.
Very nice bus drivers, all of them ^^ However, one should note with the tickets that the green and violet tours only run until 4:30 PM. The red line until 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, it is then no longer possible to view the various spots, or only by using public transport. Therefore, one point deduction. Copenhagen is very hospitable in general.

I'm really pleased I went on this bus and boat tour. It was great to see a variety of landmarks from both land and water. I especially enjoyed the boat trip and we were fortunately blessed with lovely sunny weather. It gave us some ideas of where we would like to spend some more time exploring.

Copenhagen was very busy. The hop on hop off bus was a good way to get around however it is uncomfortable on hot days. This is a good way to get a taste for the city.

Copenhagen is a very attractive city and the HOHO is a good way to see the city if you have enough time. The boat ride is very nice but It takes too long to wait for a bus.

Hop on hop off buses are always a great way to see the city and this did not disappoint. I will say my only negative comment is the communication was lacking on when the last bus would run. We only found out by accident at 5:30pm/17:30 when the bus we were on a bus and the driver said that was it, last stop of the night.

Provided a wonderful overview of the city. My favorite was the boat tour which covered so much of the history of Copenhagen! Also it dropped us off at the cruise pier.

This HOHO experience was the WORST such experience ever. And I’ve taken these excursions many other places. This excursion is an utter waste of money and time. The only redeeming feature is that it kept me out of the rain. That IS IT.
