Citroentour in Vernazza met citroen- en wijnproeverij

Een korte maar fascinerende wandeling met uitzicht op zee om Vernazza en het terrasvormige landschap van de Cinque Terre te ontdekken, een UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie. Tijdens de tour bezoeken we een prachtige citroenboomgaard van de boerderij La Bottega, waar we limoncino (gemaakt van de citroenen uit de omgeving) en andere typische producten uit Cinque Terre, zoals Cinque Terre DOC-wijn, kunnen proeven, vergezeld van traditionele Ligurische focaccia.

Bezoek aan het dorp Vernazza, met zijn karakteristieke kleine plein waar de kerk van Santa Margherita d'Antiochia staat.
Vanaf Vernazza lopen we een deel van het pad naar Monterosso (SVA-pad) tot aan de plaats Mavà. Daar bezoeken we de prachtige citroenboomgaard van de Azienda Agricola la Bottega (de citroenen van de Cinque Terre zijn zo beroemd dat ze zelfs werden genoemd door de dichter Eugenio Montale, die zijn zomers doorbracht in Monterosso). Vanaf daar is het uitzicht op Vernazza gewoonweg subliem.
Bij Mavà kun je de producten van de Bottega proeven, zoals limoncino geproduceerd van de citroenen die ons omringen, La Bottega Vino Cinque Terre DOC en andere typische likeuren vergezeld van typische Ligurische focaccia. Daarna dalen we af naar het dorpje Vernazza waar onze ervaring zal eindigen.

- Een korte, zeer sfeervolle wandeling door het typische terrasvormige landschap van de Cinque Terre. De wandelroute bevat korte, steile stukken, daarom wordt sterk aangeraden om geschikte schoenen te dragen (geen open schoenen).
- Er is geen specifieke fysieke conditie vereist, hoewel het niet aanbevolen is voor mensen met mobiliteitsproblemen.

Alessandro was a lovely and informative tour guide. The views were absolutely spectacular, can’t find a view quite like the one on the tour. Amazing white wine, limoncino and bay leaf liquor. Focaccia and lemon jam was delicious. Highly recommend!
Our Guide Alessandro was so kind, knowledgable and informative. This is a short hike to some shaded tables in the small lemon grove. We tasted local wine and Lemoncino. He brought focaccia, home made lemon jam and lemon cookies. The view from here was wonderful. Thank you :)
Allesandro was an incredible guide- very knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is picturesque and the tastings were wonderful. The hike up to the tasting is moderate difficulty- especially in the heat, but it is very worth it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a differnt type of experience in Vernazza

Wonderful tour up the hillside in Vernazza! Alessandro took us on a beautiful hike to a private overlook where we could explore the small lemon grove and sit and relax while he shared their farms wine, lemoncino and a liquor made from bay leaves. He was so knowledgeable and also gave us plenty of time to soak in the experience and views of Vernazza and the Ligurian Sea!
This was a great tour with Alessandro! We walked through the village of Vernazza and went on part of the path to Monterosso. We went to the lemon grove where we had a beautiful view looking down on Vernazza. We tasted the lemon jam with focaccia, cookies, La Bottega wine - and limoncino. It was all delicious! We met back at the store where we made a few purchases!!
What a wonderful way to spend the morning. The hike was worth the vista once we arrived at the picnic spot. Alessandro was an interesting and friendly guide. We can highly recommend this tour.
What a wonderful way to spend a morning. The meeting point is easy to find. Alessandro was welcoming and friendly. The climb to where we were to stop for the tasting was not too far. Along the way Alessandro was informative about what we could see from various view points. The tasting spot had an amazing vista of Vernazza. Tasting the lemon jam, local wine, and other drinks felt quite a privilege away from all the other tourists. I could have stayed there all day it was quite magical.

Nice experience. Be prepared for uneven terrain. No bathrooms... so if you have kids, be mindful of that. Beautiful view.
