Deze tour wordt begeleid door een Cinque Terre-gelicentieerde gids. Leuke combinatie inclusief een pesto-les op een prachtige pittoreske buitenlocatie, ontspannen lunch inclusief cinque terre wijnproeverij, kleine groepsboottocht tussen dorpen. We maken een korte wandeling naar de pesto-locatie en nemen even de tijd om foto's te maken en te genieten van de prachtige dorpsomgeving. Vervolgens een leuke praktische ervaring in de oude kunst van het maken van een heerlijke pesto op de traditionele manier. Zodra de pesto op is, gaat u zitten om de heerlijke pesto te proeven die wordt geserveerd op lokaal brood, olijven, salami en kazen en witte Cinque Terre-wijn. Vervolgens lopen we naar de haven voor een comfortabele kleine boottocht om te genieten van de spectaculaire kustlijn vanaf de zee. Ervaar de onvergetelijke bezienswaardigheden van de Cinque Terre. We nemen de boot langs Corneglia en gaan naar Vernazza, een ander prachtig dorp aan de Italiaanse Rivièra. Stunning views and amazing energy from the pesto making to the boat ride - all truly spectacular! Gary was wonderful at communicating and securing our spots together for the pesto making class. He was helpful and responsive. It was an experience that was a highlight for our trip.
The pesto making class was excellent and would do it again in a heart beat. The boat tour while beautiful was very slow put along due to regulations and a bit dull.
We are really happy you enjoyed the pesto activity . Most people who visit the Cinque Terre don't get to see one of the most spectacular and unique landscapes in Italy from the perspective of the mediterranean sea. It's a UNESCO world heritage site due to the 4500 miles of terraced landscape) The maritime protection area is a protected area for a reason , few boats and no speed boats, sorry ! You could see the landscape form the ferry with another 200-300 people although not the same experience a a small boat trip with a handful of of people and accompanied with a licensed Cinque Terre Guide. We are sad that you found it dull , a lot of guests tell us it was the highlight of their Italian trip. As the saying goes you can't please all of the people all of the time.
Our guide was Gary John Lloyd. He is a very knowledgable and kind person. We enjoyed every minutes of this tour. The pesto making class in Nessun Dorma was just amazing. This is a “must go” tour! Thank You, Gary!
Recommendation: book the pesto class and boat tour separately. There is no value in booking this as a package. The pesto making class at Nessus Dorma was great but rough seas caused the boat tour to be cancelled. We were given a bottle of wine as compensation for the boat ride… meaning we paid 4x what the pesto class actually cost.
You were given the option to cancel the tour due to sea conditions but you declined. We don’t risk safety when there are are dangerous sea conditions . With this tour you are accompanied by a guide licensed by the Cinque Terre. There is a reason why we have so many five star reviews On this tour don’t have to queue ,and get to skip the line where you usually wait for up to an hour at the location to get in also the queue to get a the travel card! We do have another version of the boat tour but it costs three times more than you would pay by booking the combined tour. The two parts of this tour are not available to book separately . Had an awesome time, and the pesto turned out great! I even won a bottle of wine. Had a very fun group that we were with which made it even better. The lunch was good and capped it off with a nice boat ride up the coast.

The experience was incredible! The pesto making class was fun, dynamic, and delicious & the view during the experience is unparalleled. The boat tour was beautiful and relaxing. Gary, the tour guide, was awesome in helping answer any questions we had and was a great conversationalist. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Cinque Terre. It is easily the best thing my friend and I have done during our 3 weeks in Europe.

Absolutely fantastic! Loved the pesto class so much, our lunch, the views, and the boat ride! My kids still talk about it.
There are too many people in these “classes” The restaurant owner imparts a lot of knowledge and experience into his lecture, but too much time is spent with his back to you and he doesn’t seem to care.
Sorry if you found the class busy, but we had to cancel 2 classes in the days before due to weather, so we tried to let some of the guests that missed a class come back. It can make it a lot fun when there are a lot of people of diifferent nationalities together .If there is anything you dont undersatnd then our guide or the tutor are always more than happy to explain any points you missed . In the end we make sure everyone makes a delicous pesto sauce to enjoy ! We are pleased you enjoyed overall and yes the view is very special. Enjoy the rest of your trip Fiamma
