Haal het meeste uit uw tijd met een halve dag express tour van Rio. Reis door het Tijuca-woud naar de top van Corcovado voor Christus de Verlosser, bezoek de Metropolitan Cathedral, Selarón Steps en Arcos da Lapa en stop voor foto's bij Maracanã en Sambadrome. Uw Gids, toegangsticket en hoteltransfers zijn allemaal inbegrepen.

We bezoeken de berg Corcovado en het standbeeld Christus de Verlosser via de Paineiras-route. De 20 minuten rijden naar de voet van het standbeeld brengt je door het Tijuca-woud en geeft je een voorproefje van de landschappen die voor je liggen. Het beeld is 710 meter hoog en vanaf dit uitkijkpunt heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de stad.
Het grootste stadsbos ter wereld. We nemen je mee op een panoramisch uitzicht. Per minibus gaan we door het Tijuca-bos en stoppen bij het bezoekerscentrum in de Paineiras. Dit is de plaats waar we de minibus van de Corcovado nemen om bij de Christus, de Verlosser, te komen.
Gelegen in Santa Teresa, zijn de Selarón-trappen beroemd om zijn heldere en kleurrijke tegels.
De moderne architectuur is heel anders dan de traditionele kathedralen die we daar zien. Geniet van de prachtige glas-in-loodramen en probeer de bijbelpassages te raden waar ze hun inspiratie vandaan halen.
De Sambodromo is de Carnaval-tempel en de plaats waar we elk jaar strijden in de grootste viering van carnaval ter wereld.
Voetbal - of voetbal, als je dat liever hebt - maakt deel uit van het Braziliaanse leven. We kijken graag naar de wedstrijden en delen ervaringen met vreemden die samenkomen voor één doel: hun team op het veld ondersteunen. Het Maracanã-stadion wordt beschouwd als onze tempel en een heilige plaats voor degenen die van een geweldige wedstrijd houden. We kunnen buiten het stadion foto's maken en verhalen delen over onze favoriete wedstrijden.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is mogelijk bij de meeste hotels in de gebieden Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo en Downtown (Centro). Neem contact met ons op terug om de ophaaltijd aan te passen. Ophalen tussen 07:45 uur en 08:30 uur.

We had a simply wonderful experience! We visited the Christ the Redeemer, the Selarón Stairs, the Maracanã and the Sambódromo, and everything was even more special thanks to our guide, Monica. She was extremely attentive, caring, patient and welcoming throughout the tour. Always concerned about our well-being, explained everything with a lot of knowledge and made every moment unforgettable. It is hard to put into words all the affection and dedication she has had with us. Without a doubt, she made all the difference on our trip. I recommend closed eyes! Essentially the ‘tour’ was an 18 person communal taxi ride around the city where we were dropped at landmarks and then left to walk around by ourselves and work it out. Also was a half day tour where it was raining early in the morning and then fine after 10am. But instead of going into the buildings first and then going to the mountain, it was still decided to go see Christ redeemer in the rain and mist so no one really got to see or do anything. We then went to the Cathedral mid church service so again couldn’t really do much so we decided to get an uber back at that point as it was all a bit pointless. Also, we spent an hour driving around Rio picking everyone up from various hotels - maybe in future it may be easier to just have a central meeting point to save all the guests time on their trips instead of driving around the city in circles collecting people from hotels.
The transportation service showed up over 20 minutes late and then made us walk to a random pickup location instead of picking us up directly at our hotel like promised. The communication was poor the entire time and nobody seemed organized or concerned about wasting customers’ time. To make matters worse, we were over an hour past the scheduled tour start time and still had not made it to a single landmark or attraction. Instead, the driver spent a huge amount of time driving all over the roughest parts of Rio making multiple unnecessary stops for other passengers. The entire experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and uncomfortable. If you are expecting reliable transportation, punctuality, or decent customer service, look elsewhere. There are far better and more dependable companies in Rio.
We had the tour of Rio and Corcovado Mountain with the most amazing Monica who just impressed us with the different languages she could speak. Amazing personality!!

We had plenty of time everywhere to look and take pictures. The tour guide was nice and helpful. There was nothing to complain about.
