Our tour was wonderful! Our guide Ami, was the best! He was so informative and passionate about each stop on our tour, we learned so much. We highly recommend this tour and Ami.
This a great and sincere expression of gratitude for your praise-worthy guide, Ami. His efforts are sensed and felt by all who tour with him.
Beautiful trip with the guide Yoav Malachi We went to : 2 churchs in Cana ; 1 church in the Mount of Beatitudes ; 1 Museum in Ginosar ; 1 Archeological site of a synagogue in the time of Jesus and 1 church in Magdala
Great that you had a wonderful tour experience to cherish, traveling with Yoav.
Never again leg Harim! The day trip called itself "Christian", but the guide used the time for political indoctrination. Unfortunately, you can't run away on the bus. Examples? - Palestinians do not exist at all. They were all cheap labour from all sorts of Arab countries, he said. - They moved out of Haifa and Jaffa. But not because she had been driven out, but because they wanted to (please Google for "Nabka"!) - He only imagined Emmaus as a place where his children would have fun digging for Crusaders' bones. Of course, no word that Emmaus was destroyed by the State of Israel to establish "Canada Park" on it. etc. It makes you sick to imagine which pictures the tourists go home with, who have no idea and take it all at face value. It's been so long now, but it still upsets me unabated. Let's just hope that this Dan Porges was the only one of his kind and hopefully won't be accompanying tours for a long time!
Beautiful tour from Jerusalem to Nazareth and Sea of Galilee. Excellent visit with dorit epstein competent and sympathetic. Impressive the Jordan and the rite of baptism
Thanks Rosella We appreciate you sharing your 5 star rating of our tour and your Guide Dorit. She is worthy of your feedback for the professional and excellent job she does managing the tour, making sure you came away with a memorable and enlightening tour experience to cherish We are happy to read you enjoyed the Baptism site on the Jordan river too, a unqiue and revered biblical landmark.
I took the 1 day tour of Galilee/Nazareth with this company, and overall I had a very positive experience, and I thought it was good value for money - with a few caveats. First, the good points; everything was exactly as advertised, we left on time and arrived on time. We saw all the key places in Galilee, we had abundant time, the lunch (not included in the price) was good, and the tour guide Dan P was really informative - I was dazzled by the amount of information he provided about locations such as Emmaus, for example. For less than $100, it was a really excellent tour overall, and I felt it gave a very good impression of that part of the world. 2 negative points; the 'shopping stops' in Nazareth and the Jordan river baptism site were un-necessary and too long, I felt. No need for the 'hard-sell' like this on a day tour costing $100. And secondly, athough Dan was a genial, informative and kind guide, I really wish he didn't repeatedly say things like, 'I love my country, Israel', 'I am really proud of Israel', 'I think Israel is the greatest country in the world', etc. Given the controversial nature of the Israel/Palestine situation, UN condemnations of Israeli settlements, etc., this was really not needed. Not meaning to sound too critical, because he really was an excellent guide, but lay off the nationalism juice, Dan!
Thanks for sharing your sincere praise on our tour and your guide Dan P. He is indeed worthy of the honorable mention and deserves such compliments for his efforts, professionalism and his wealth of knowledge that he shares with his travelers. All embossed with a passion and personal spice.Dan is known to be very passionate about his work and and his love of this country. Both attributes that certainly enhance him being an outstanding tourguide. so we see this as added attirbutes to his dedicated performance. Sorry ,but tactfully we are sure you understand we will not react to your personal impression of and interpretation of his sentiments expressed. The stops at the shop in Nazereth is mainly for the bathroom , and at Jordan River ,Yardenit there is no other way to access the Baptismal site. You are not in any way obligated to purchase anything, but it is a walkthrough to the riverside pavillion. We are glad though that you came away enlgihtened from the region visited.
Like the guide Nathanar Yaen Both were very knowledgeable I recommend I may call them again in my next trip
Our guide today, Yoav Malachi, is about the best I’ve ever had, including tours in Europe. He provides the historical context of what we are seeing and is both knowlegeable and respectful of the significance of the site. He also chooses the best of the best. Plus, he levens the information with humor where appropriate.
Thanks for this rave review of your guide Yoav, and our tour operations. He sure deserves such feedback for the professional and great job he does with hs travel groups. All that you described is him!!, his friendly manner and engaging personality for all , spiced with humor. We are happy to read that Bein Harim provided a tour experience you will always remember and with such superlatives. Hope to see you again some time, there is lots more to explore with us.
We booked Masada, Jerusalem, and this tour. We had Isaac and he was fantastic! He went out of his way to make us comfortable, give us info, give us space to sleep on the bus ride back, and took as many pictures of the group as we could. Jerusalem felt very contrived and commercialized. Jesus spent most of his life in this area, and it was amazing to walk where He walked. Highly recommend this tour!
Dear Coutrney Thanks very much for sharing this rave review of your tour guided by Zahi. It sure sounds he gave you a memroable and enlightening tour day, so in keeping with his personality and manner. We are proud to have him on our team of guides. Your kind recommendatin is highly appreciated.
We were able to see this piece of history on our way to taking a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Another great place not to miss
Thanks very much for this rave review to this spectacular region in our country.
This trip was part of our 25th wedding anniversary celebration and what a way for Yoav to start the journey with none other than the Wedding Church at Cana. Upon learning of our important milestone, Yoav went out of his way to arrange on the spot an impromptu wedding vows renewal for us with a Franciscan priest. He even took the role of a photographer while the rest of our tour group served as our wedding guests and witnesses! That was a totally unexpected event which, by itself, made this experience become part of our life-long memories. The rest of the journey further solidified our Christian spiritual re-immersion as we walked through the path of Jesus: at the Mount of Beatitudes with breathtaking view of the Sea of Galilee from Domus Galilaeae; in a small Christian church at Capernaum; the extraordinary excavation of the 2000-year old Ancient Galilee Boat; and finally at the ruins of Magdala in the town of Migdal known as Mary Magdalene's birthplace and where Jesus once preached at a synagogue. This journey could not have been more dramatic with Yoav's special way of building up the stories along the way with unsuspecting clues from various natures found around the Sea of Galilee. Nice job Yoav. Highly recommended!
