Think it should be a policy that customers buy a ticket before they get on the bus. We had to wait bout 15-20minutes because they were selling tickets on the actual bus so we had to wait while the agent did so. It just seems inconsiderate to all the others and time consuming for tourist who need to get going. Pickups at each stop should be quick
Sara was SO happy, pleasant and accommodating, helping us navigate the app. After hopping off, she ended up being at our pick up after our river tour—and she remembered us! Sara brought her bus back to replace one the AC went out on. I was sad she wasn’t our driver for the remainder of our trip! (The finishing driver was another story—2/10 recommend, but that’s for another time). Edit as necessary.
We loved The Big Bus Sight seeing experience. Our driver, D. Greg, was pleasant, friendly and very informative. We particularly enjoyed the length of the ride and how much it was covered along the way.

This was by far the best way to see so many place throughout the city. You were taken to 11 different spots and could spend time where you wanted, and skip what didn’t interest you.

Easy on and off locations. The stops occur frequently enough so you do not have to wait for another bus to arrive.

Wonderful way to the see Chicago with a family member that has difficulty walking for long periods of time. We enjoyed learning more about the history of the city, the architecture, and the cultural icons. Our driver was polite, professional, informative, and funny!

The loop is very good. The personnel were very professional. The reason why i don't give it a five is because it doest include BOTH lines (red and yellow). This ONLY includes the red line and you will need to pay separate for the yellow. It is not super expensive at all (extra yellow line)

I have used this bus in other cities before. It was 90F outside and felt like 100F. We boarded the bus and decided to stay down stairs in the AC area because it was too hot upstairs. The AC was not working and you could not open the windows. The bus driver came to the back of the bus to take the sign outside and he said " What the...the AC is not working?!" What made matters worse, there were small children and elderly people on the bus. I have used this bus in other cities with the temperature outside the same and have never experienced this. Disgusting!
We used to love this tour, but there is no longer a live tour guide and instead a pre recorded guide with headphones. Not the same experience and the recording didn’t match up with the buildings on time so we kept missing what they were talking about.
