Volg de rivieren en watervallen van São Miguel tijdens een natuurtour met kleine groepen door enkele van de mooiste en meest ongerepte landschappen van het eiland. Ga verder dan de gebruikelijke sightseeingroutes en ontdek zes unieke watervallen, weelderige bossen, verborgen valleien en historische watermolens die de diepe verbinding van het eiland met water onthullen. Ontworpen voor natuurliefhebbers en actieve reizigers, combineert deze ervaring korte wandelingen, adembenemende landschappen en een diepere verkenning van de wilde kant van São Miguel. Geniet onderweg van een picknicklunch midden in de natuur en, wanneer de omstandigheden het toelaten, mogelijkheden om het verfrissende natuurlijke water van het eiland te ervaren. Salto do Cabrito is een prachtige waterval van 40 - meter omlijst door torenhoge, met mos bedekte kliffen en weelderige vegetatie. Bezoekers kunnen de watervallen bewonderen vanaf een unieke industriële catwalk die door de canyon slingert of een verfrissende duik nemen in het heldere, ondiepe zwembad aan de basis.

Gelieve klaar te staan om opgehaald te worden om 9u00. Houd er rekening mee dat u maximaal 20 minuten nodig heeft om alle ophaalmomenten in Ponta Delgada te voltooien. Ophalen in Ribeira Grande niet voor 9:30.

Of all the tours I have done on Azores, this definitely is the very best one. João takes you in an e-minibus to all the best and most magical waterfall places on the island , which you would never find on your own. The tour is a combination of hiking ( some steep bits) , but walking sticks are provided, waterfalls you can swim in and some sightseeing. At the middle of the day is a tasty local picnic ( they catered for my vegetarian and gluten free needs) in a wonderful place by the see. A totally unforgettable day.

I can’t say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed this tour, the falls were amazing! There is hiking involved, but nothing too challenging. Our guide was amazing and was a great host!

We had a wonderful tour with Manuel. We saw about six waterfalls. We were a family of six people between the ages of 24 and 70, and everybody was able to do the hikes. We traveled in a very comfortable van in between hikes. Some of the hikes were harder than others, but all were doable. The scenery was stunning, stupendous, amazing!!! We went swimming at the last waterfall, which was a real treat. Food was provided, and Manuel was great about orienting us to the area, giving us information and making sure we all had enough water and restroom stops. All in all this was a highlight of our trip to the Azores!
This was a well organised and fascinating adventure. My partner and I enjoyed every minute of it. We had a great guide who ensured that the whole day went smoothly
