Bij aankomst op onze locatie wordt u verwelkomd door een echte charro uit Jalisco, die u door de tour zal leiden die we "Entre Charros" (Onder Charros) noemen. Je verkent ons sitemuseum, beschouwd als de kathedraal van Charrería, terwijl je leert over de geschiedenis en evolutie van de mens te paard in Mexico en de wereld. We zullen de stallen bezoeken waar we leren over de Quarter Horse, hun zorg en aandacht, evenals de gereedschappen die we gebruiken om met hen en het vee te werken. We zullen leren over het gebruik van de lasso en hoe we de lasso moeten gebruiken om onszelf in te wijden in de wereld van charros. Eindelijk is het tijd om op een paard te rijden met een charro-hoed, waarvoor we je enkele basisinstructies zullen geven over hoe je op een praktische manier met het paard kunt communiceren. Het beste is het einde, want we zullen het vieren en proosten met een heerlijke tequila terwijl we genieten van de muziek van de mariachi en de liedjes van de charrería. It was an excellent experience, fun, interesting, and unforgettable. We learned to rope, how to train and care for the horse, about the history and culture of the charros, and how to drink tequila. The next day we were invited to a charreada, where the charros, the horses, and the bulls demonstrated their skills and talents.
This was one of the best cultural experiences I’ve ever booked while on vacation! We learned so much about charro culture and history, and it gave me such a deeper insight into Mexico and the Mexican people. The talk was informative, inspiring, funny, and engaging. The lasso lesson and horse-riding was so fun and made me want to continue learning to ride at home. I fell in love with Mexico and the charro way!

It was not my first experience with horses (since the school where I teach has a strong riding program and I am surrounded with riders and riding teachers), but it was my first time I started to experience the gentleness and especially the mutual trust between the horses and myself (thanks to Marco!). This was an amazing experience! We learned about the rich history and origins of Charrería through engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities, including the opportunity to learn how to throw a lasso. We also enjoyed a tequila tasting and were serenaded with traditional music, which made the experience even more memorable.
