A tour worth taking if you are a foodie and just want to experience something special! Worth every penny and the timing and places we got to learn about was amazing and would never have learned about discovering on our own. The walking part of the tour made you excited for the delicious meal that was being prepared. It was a perfect amount of time from start to finish. The atmosphere was really beautiful, quiet and felt intimate and welcoming. It was a nice size; we were able to chat and ask questions and the chef was so responsive and friendly and the staff was great! Definitely repeating this tour again as it will never be the same because you get to pick the ingredients so don’t fool around get the good stuff you can eat ramen anytime!
Ana, the Farm-to-Table Experience in Charleston's TwoBoroughs neighborhood is one of our most beloved offerings precisely because no two visits are ever alike. The anticipation built during the neighborhood walk, the intimate atmosphere, and a meal shaped entirely by your own selections is something we pour our hearts into. We cannot wait to welcome you back and see what you choose next time!
We just recently went with family on the Farm to Table experience tour. Tour was great and food was amazing. Can't wait to do the tour again.
Ashley, thank you for bringing the family along for the Farm-to-Table Experience! There is something really special about selecting your ingredients, exploring the TwoBoroughs neighborhood, and returning to find them transformed into a beautiful multi-course meal. So glad it left you wanting more. We hope to see you back soon!
Georgia was a fantastic tour guide, very lovely, and very informative on the Charlestons history. The food was also great and I love how our dishes were curated to the ingredients we chose.
Tyler, thank you for this! What makes the Charleston Farm-to-Table Experience so unique is exactly that journey: you select the ingredients, head out to explore the TwoBoroughs neighborhood with your guide, and then return to find them transformed into a beautiful multi-course meal. The anticipation alone is half the fun! Georgia brings such a lovely energy and depth of knowledge about Charleston's history and culinary roots to every step of the tour, and we are so glad it all came together so deliciously for you. We hope to welcome you back to TwoBoroughs again soon!
We had a truly wonderful experience.. Our guide, Georgia, was exceptionally knowledgeable, welcoming, and engaging. She had a natural ability to connect with every person in the group, making us feel as though we had known one another for years!! The meal at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic—beautifully prepared and thoughtfully curated. Every detail of the tour felt intentional. Georgia also took time to give us advice On what to do during our limited stay in town. Overall, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and elevated culinary outing.
Lucia, thank you for this beautiful review! Georgia truly embodies everything we believe a culinary tour guide should be, and the way she brings a group together so naturally and warmly is a gift that simply cannot be scripted. That feeling of instant connection among strangers is one of our favorite things about the Charleston Farm-to-Table Food Tour and Chef's Challenge experience, and it sounds like your group felt it fully. We are so glad the meal was everything it should be as well. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope your travels bring you back to Charleston again soon.
This is a fabulous experience!! Food was great and the tour director makes the event. Small group (there were 9 of us) so lots if opportunity to walk, talk, make new friends and enjoy Charleston.
JL, thank you so much for this wonderful review! We could not agree more that the small group setting is where the magic really happens. Nine guests means real conversations, genuine connections, and a pace that lets everyone soak in everything Charleston's TwoBoroughs neighborhood has to offer. The Chef's Challenge brings out a side of people that a regular tour simply cannot, and it sounds like your group made the most of every moment. We are so glad the food, the fun, and the friendships all came together for an experience worth shouting about. We hope to welcome you back to Charleston Culinary Tours again soon!
My wife and I did the Farm to Table tour with Georgia as our guide who was fantastic. The idea of picking out ingredients at the start of the tour for the Chef to use to make several courses while we then toured a part of Charleston is unique. Our guide Georgia did a great job of telling historical stories about Charleston. I have taken many horror tours in Charleston over the years and she was able to provide facts I never heard before. The end of the tour, when we went back to a restaurant and enjoyed a 4 course meal, was a wonderful. The meal itself was worth the price of admission. So glad we did this tour.
You described the Farm-to-Table experience beautifully. Selecting ingredients, exploring Charleston’s stories with Georgia, and then sitting down to a chef-prepared four-course meal really does make for a unique afternoon. We especially love hearing that even as a seasoned Charleston tour-goer, you learned something new. That means a lot. So glad you joined us!
This tour, led by Georgia, was a lovely way to learn about the unusual history of the Cannon Elliot borough, fill out a foody’s bucket list of restaurants, and enjoy a yummy 4 course meal prepared for us by a chef with ingredients we selected. . Definitely worth doing.
Thank you for joining us, Marnier! It’s wonderful to hear that Georgia made the Farm-to-Table Tour so enjoyable. Her knowledge of the Two Boroughs Neighborhood and Charleston’s culinary scene really brings the experience to life. We appreciate your enthusiasm and hope to see you back for another shop & eat adventure soon!
Absolutely wonderful. The veggie bin was such a wonderful start then to restaurant. Then historic walk. Our guide Georgia Caudle was excellent.
What a joy to read! We’re thrilled you enjoyed starting at the Veggie Bin, the historic walk, and the restaurant experience. Georgia was delighted to guide your group and share Charleston’s flavors and stories. Thank you for being part of this culinary adventure, and we hope to see you back soon.
From our tour guide "Mimi" to Natasha's food the whole experience was outstanding! Each couple picked 2 ingredients, we went on a little walk and then came back to eat our amazingly prepared food. Thank you for making this a great memory.
Thank you, Chad! We're so happy to hear that Mimi and Chef Natasha made your Farm-to-Table experience such a memorable one. That ingredient selection walk is always a guest favorite — it’s so much fun to see what the chef creates from everyone’s picks! We’ll be sure to share your kind words with the team, and we hope you’ll join us again for another delicious Charleston adventure soon.
Six of us did the farm to table tour. We started at a local grocery/produce store where we selected ingredients for a chef to us in preparing our lunch. We then walked to a local deli where we selected more ingredients and left them with the chef. We had a great tour of the neighborhood, including a very old Jewish cemetery. Our guide told us great stories about the area and its architecture. We wandered back to the deli, stopping to load up on baked goods at Sugar. When we arrived back at Daniela, we had a delicious three course meal and a lovely talk with Natasha, the chef. A great time was had by all. We rolled out of there with our sweets from Sugar because no one any any room for dessert.
Thank you, Julie! We’re thrilled to hear your group enjoyed the full Farm-to-Table experience. From selecting fresh ingredients at the Veggie Bin to exploring the neighborhood’s history and architecture, and finishing with Chef Natasha’s creative three-course meal — it sounds like you truly savored Charleston from every angle. We love seeing guests leave with full bellies and smiles, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back for another hands-on culinary adventure!
