Indiaas is het land van vele Spice’s. Waardoor ons eten erg lekker is en India daar bekend om staat. Old Delhi is de plek. Die bekend staat om zijn lokale keukens. De naam van de tour zelf is genoeg om je mond te watertanden, want de keukens van Old Delhi zijn authentiek, traditioneel en exclusief! Dat bieden wij u van de straten van Chandni Chowk. Digambar Jain Lal Mandir werd gebouwd in 1656. Die hebben prachtige vergulde schilderingen en een vogelhospitaal. De tempel is gesloten van 12.00 tot 17.00 uur
Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib is opgedragen aan de Negende Guru Teg Bahadur en bezoekt de Langar (Free Kitchen). Waar elke dag meer dan 10 duizend mensen het eten eten en ook wat service zullen verlenen.

Gadodia Market is oude haveli van Old Delhi en een onderdeel van Spice Market. Die je een klein kruidendorpje kunt noemen. Waar mensen wonen en werken. We gaan op het dak van de haveli voor vogelperspectief op Old Delhi en Spice Market en nemen een kopje Masala-thee. krijg ook de kans om ridder en duif te zien vliegen
Kinari Bazaar is een markt voor bruiloften, decoratieve dingen voor dameskleding en woondecoratie. We zullen ook zo'n 350 jaar oude haveli's (Naughara) bezoeken.

Gajendra was very friendly and communicated very well. He took us around the winding streets of Chandni Chowk and tried lots of street food. He explained a lot about each of the food we had. He even took us on a little walking tour of various bazaars within the chandni chowk market when we started getting full from the food and needed a break! Not all of the food joints were the cleanest, but it’s important to remember this is a street food tour in Chandni Chowk and that’s all part of the experience! It was a very memorable tour. My wife and I really enjoyed it

We had a fabulous time on the street food tour of old Delhi. Some delicious food and drinks and a great way to see more of the old town and some long established eateries. We visited the wedding area, saw some of the old haveli’s and also the spice market too. It was brilliant! Many thanks.

This food tour was the highlight of my trip to India. Gajendra was so knowledgeable and took us to the best vendors in old Delhi while teaching us all about the history and culture of the area. Truly a must do if you’re in the area and want a very authentic experience!
