Bezoek de levendige lokale markt en de traditionele voedselwinkels met de Cesarina en dompel jezelf onder in een privé kookles bij Cesarina's huis, leer de geheimen van de beroemdste gerechten uit de Romeinse keuken en proef de vruchten van je werk vergezeld van een glas lokaal wijn. Tijdens de les onthult de Cesarina de kneepjes van het vak van 3 authentieke Romeinse recepten. Veel plezier met het testen van je kookkunsten. Deelnemers krijgen een werkplek met keukengerei en alle ingrediënten om de afwas te doen. Proef vervolgens alles wat je hebt bereid, vergezeld van een selectie rode en witte lokale wijnen. Cesarine is het oudste netwerk van Italië van meer dan 1000 thuiskoks in het hele land in meer dan 120 steden. Het zijn gepassioneerde en gastvrije gastheren die de deuren van hun eigen huis openen voor nieuwsgierige reizigers voor meeslepende culinaire ervaringen.

My husband I had the BEST experience with our market tour and cooking class hosted by Maria and her husband Giorgio. They greeted us upon arrival to their home with freshly baked pastries, and then we headed to the local outdoor market. Maria and Giorgio, along with a family friend Isabella, guided us through the fascinating market and bought fresh ingredients for our lunch. Back at their home, Maria and Giorgio spoiled us with antipasti while we made “guitar” pasta and tiramisu. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and Maria was a fabulous teacher! After the cooking was done, we all gathered around the dinner table and had a wonderful feast. It was such a neat experience to live like a local Italian for a few hours. We saw everything Rome has to offer, from the Colosseum to the Vatican to an AS Roma soccer match, but we both agree that this marker tour and cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Italy!
This was one our favorite things that we did in Rome! The hosts were fascinating, engaging and very welcoming to us in their home. And the food that we prepared under their instruction was amazing. I highly recommend this cooking experience, it was more than a cooking class!
Laura’s cooking class was incredible!! One of the highlights of our trip to Rome. We met at the market and discussed different local foods and how to cook with them. We taste tested delicious pork. Then we went to their place where Laura had special aprons and stations set up for my husband and I to cook. She walked us through carbonara and tiramisu!! We were laughing and joking, just having the best time. Then we enjoyed a quiet romantic meal. I cannot recommend her class enough!
The cooking class with Valeria was a wonderful and memorable experience. Valeria welcomed us warmly Into her home and taught us how to make pasta and delicious sauces. Valeria is an excellent instructor and great conversationalist. We enjoyed chatting with her and friend Daniella as we prepared the food together and enjoyed the meal. It was a very authentic and fun Roman experience. We highly recommend it.
We celebrated my wife's birthday cooking with Ofelia in her BEAUTIFUL apartment. We started out by walking to the local farmers market to pick out some fresh ingredients, then went back and started cooking. We quickly felt like family while learning to cook multiple local recipes. All while sipping wine and listening to music. She was so patient with us while we learned how the locals hand make these dishes. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone for any occasion! So much fun!
