De Catacomben van Parijs geven slechts een beperkt aantal tickets per dag uit, waardoor ze een van de moeilijkste sites in de stad zijn om te betreden. Deze tour lost dat op met vooraf gereserveerde getimede toegang, zodat u onbezorgd naar binnen kunt. Een Expert, Engels sprekende Gids leidt de weg door een labyrint van met bot omzoomde tunnels en vertelt de donkere geschiedenis van hoe vergeten kalksteengroeven de rustplaats werden voor miljoenen Parijzenaars. Langs de route loop je langs muren van schedels en dijbenen die in kruisen en bogen zijn gerangschikt, en je staat voor de Barrel of Passion in de Crypt of Passion. Het hoogtepunt is de bevoorrechte toegang tot twee beperkte kamers, gesloten voor het grote publiek, waar een bewaker de ijzeren poorten ontgrendelt voor uw kleine groep. Met gereserveerde toegang, griezelige legendes en kamers die de meeste bezoekers nooit zien, is dit een van de meest memorabele manieren om ondergronds Parijs te ervaren.

It is one of the creepiest but interesting tours you will ever do. I don't want to spoil too much but this trip through underground Paris will fascinate you as you learn about how and why there are so many bones and why they are where they are. There are about 100 steps down and back up and the tunnels are not large and if you suffer from claustrophobia may want to skip. With the tour we had access to areas not available to general admission ticket. Be prepared to be creeped out.
