It is very different than other Rome highlights and well worth the price. Amazing preservation in a part of Rome that is different from the rest of the city.

Our driver, Marco, was amazing!!! He made several recommendations for places to visit and eat in Italy. Explained that the area we were staying was not too safe and asked us to be careful. I highly recommend requesting Marco if booking a private tour. We will be requesting him if we return to Roma. Grazie Marco!

Quick tour, cool on a hot day. No bones .not scary . Crazy that the built this. Good place for hide and seek😅 beautiful landscaping at entrance, did not know The Vatican owns this
dear customer, thank you for your review, I'm sorry that you were not totally satisfied because you could not see skeletons or bones, I hope you enjoyed everything else, private transfer with Mercedes Van from your hotel, air conditioning, fresh water, sweets snd candy, visit to other sites along the transfer to the catacombs, stop for photos and an additional stop at the Trevi Fountain added for you.. We did enjoy our tour and the tour guide was clearly an expert. Very knowledgeable about the catacombs. We thought the tour was to be a small group but it was close to 20-25 people and guide began talking when the first people arrived with him to each stop. We were often last as we were the slowest down stairs. At the end , with tip $ in hand, we waved that were making it up the exit stairs as fast as we could-when we got there he was gone. So was his tip. No biggie, but disappointed that he catered to the fastest to the few of slower families.
maybe you got the wrong company, we offer private service, not group 20-25 people, our Mercedes Vans have a maximum of 7 seats
It’s best if you are not in any rush. We were not, we really enjoyed our guide at the site. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was like a tour guide through the city on the way to the site.
The only problem is the guy did not speak English. We were told he would point out Rome famous locations, but we couldn’t understand it. He was very nice but did not speak English.
Heading back to Rome in September and the only way to see the sights is with Marco, The best and most accommodating driver you’ll ever meet.And be assured you are in safe hands, you can trust him with your life. I look forward to seeing him again and share the beauty of his amazing city of Rome and all of Italy
Our private tour guide picked us up at our hotel right on time. On our way to the catacombs, he pointed out places of interest and gave a history of those sites. He was very informative and friendly.
Marco was an excellent driver. His English was impeccable. He took us by several interesting sites on the way to the catacombs. The catacomb tour was outstanding and our guide was very knowledgeable.
