Castel Gandolfo Kajaktocht met proeverij van wijn en eten

We tought about getting this kayak tour for 3 days and it was a best decision to go on Castel Gandolfo tour and especially I recommend to get the tour with the wine tasting. We were lucky that we were the only ones to book this from the group and we got Andrea as our personal tour guide since he knows everything about Lago Albano and the area and had time to educate us and he is hands down the best tour guide we ever had. Also we recommend to get the wine tasting since you get to enjoy beautiful views with some drinks from the restaurant and relax. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Rome.

We were with the guides Flavio and Enrico, who were excellent; they explained everything to us with professionalism and calmness, making it seem simple and safe! We made a stop in the middle of the lake, in a shaded spot, like a fairy tale! A swim and excellent pizza! Accurate historical explanation, including nice anecdotes. Definitely worth doing again!

Enrico met us at Lake Albano and was an excellent local guide. He’s friendly, speaks English very well, and explained the geography and history of Lake Albano. The pace of the kayak tour was easy and relaxing.

Beautiful experience on Lake Albano, we had a great time. It was interesting to discover some history thanks to our guide Flavio. We look forward to returning!

The experience itself is very nice but the missing things are too much and deficit. It says they provide technical material for kayaking none of that. We completed wet the only garments we had because they give absolutely nothing, except the lifebuoy that by law they must provide you. I invite you to write to bring flip-flops or rock shoes, as we to reach the restaurant we made a path of glass and barefoot thorns. In the 'aperitif cheeses we have not even seen them from afar.

This was my first time kayaking and I had the best experience with Lorenzo! He made me feel comfortable and confident on the water. My friends and I really enjoyed it!

The experience was absolutely amazing, made better with the three guides, Alex, Francesco and Matteo. They were talkative and friendly, explained everything, we felt safe, the food was good, enjoyed the gorgeous scenary, swimming part was so nice and refreshing as well. Francesco was kind enough to give us a lift on the way home, as he lived nearby. Saving us two hours worth of public transport time.

Bellissimo tour accompagnati da Nicole che é stata una guida fantastica! For us it was the first time kayaking and for me also the first bath in a lake! Nicole was very good at explaining and reassuring us given our inexperience, she took us to a fantastic corner to swim, explained a bit of history of the place and also some curious and funny anecdotes! Da rifare sicuramente! I would review the restaurant that deals with the aperitif, especially since Nicole and the Academy deserve top marks!

The kayaking was amazing, lovely lake, very relaxing, our tour guide was very friendly and shared lots of information. However the food was not good, everything was soggy and tasteless which we didn’t end up eating, the drink was also awful we had aperol spritz and all you can taste was Prosecco which we also couldn’t drink. The restaurant staff were not very friendly they did not talk just put food on table and left. No one welcomed us we wouldn’t like to return there I’m afraid.

Great Kayak experience. Alex is a wonderful accomplished professional Kayaker. Pick up from Anagnina Station was easy and efficient. Friendly and well spoken he helped one person who had previous difficulties kayaking through the issues give her and enjoyable experience. The water was and weather was beautiful. We will return to kayak the lake again. Highly recommend this tour.
