Dineren in Carnivore Restaurant, gelegen op ongeveer 8 km van het centrum van Nairobi, is niet voor de lichte eter, maar eerder een heerlijke "Nyama Choma" eetlocatie waar je een overvloed aan gevarieerd sappig vlees proeft dat geroosterd is boven een houtskoolvuur dat worden op je bord gestapeld tot je maag vol is.

The driver was great and waited for us at the restaurant until we were done. However, this is really just overpriced transport from your hotel to the Carnivore restaurant. Looking back we should have just ordered an Uber but online some places said it was a quieter area so we were not sure if we would find an Uber back. We looked on the Uber app while there and there were plenty. Also go on the Carnivore website and make your own reservations. Booking this does not give you a reservation at the restaurant. They also did not confirm our driver until I called the company and was finally able to reach them 2hrs before we were supposed to leave. They did not respond to Whatsapp or messaging through tripadvisor

This place is literally wild! Lol. They have all kinds of meats to try, if you like meat and something really different , fo for it! It was lots of fun!

Went to Carnivore on last night of our holidays as it was very near airport. Wasn’t disappointed, food and service very good . A special mention to June who was one of our servers.

Beautiful place! We went a bit early in the evening (the only time we could get reservations at last minute) and it turned out to be great, as we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. By the time we left, every table was occupied. Food was amazing, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We took tons of pictures, and this included the colobus monkeys who visited along the roofline.

Great restaurant, nice waiter, good food, the most exotic on the menu were struts and they tasted great. The passion fruit sorbent was the best I've ever tasted.

The ambiance at Carnivore Restaurant is exquisite, particularly at night. The food is decent, not exceptional but worth a visit. However, this experience with this company is over priced and unnecessary. I am an avid traveler and travel blogger/influencer. I suggest booking an uber or taxi as this experience only covers transportation and not food or drinks. You can literally get an uber for $5-$10 USD from anywhere in the city and save yourself $50 USD!
