Hier kun je je avontuurlijke geest de vrije loop laten door te wandelen door kristalhelder en verfrissend water, af te dalen langs 4 spectaculaire wanden van de Arenal-rivierkloof, over 3 natuurlijke poelen te springen, de prachtige natuur en dieren in het wild te bewonderen, en via 2 ziplines de kloof over te steken – allemaal op één plek. Daarom bieden wij meer dan alleen canyoning. Ook als u geen eerdere ervaring heeft, zullen onze professionele gidsen u vóór de tour stap voor stap uitleggen hoe u alle apparatuur moet gebruiken. Voor dit soort activiteiten vertrouwen we op de veiligheid van onze apparatuur van erkende merken en al onze medewerkers zijn getraind. We sloten af met een rustige wandeling langs de oevers van de rivier de Arenal, met zijn kalme en kristalheldere water. Daarna wagen we ons in het bos om naar ons restaurant, La Roca, te wandelen, waar heerlijke natuurlijke drankjes op ons wachten, en natuurlijk een voortreffelijke traditionele lunch.

Unfortunately we got lunch and got out to the part where the you get all geared up and they realized the river had risen too high to be safe to do the tour. We were disappointed, but seeing video of the river I was so grateful they put our safety first. Everyone was super nice and tried to accommodate us coming back another day which wouldn’t work for our schedule. We were able to get a full refund. If this happens to you, be sure to get their WhatsApp contact as it took me messaging them a couple times to make sure the refund happened.

Book it. I have been a tour guide in multiple tourist destinations and gone on my share of travel tours. This was easily my favorite tour of my life. Jose, Kendall, Jonathan, Caesar and Ronan are pro’s, super safe, professional and fun. (Don’t listen to the few whiners here. Although I will say: to do this you must be in, like, not bad shape. You need to be comfortable being active). But they’re good at what they do and make it accessible. The jungle experience is truly magic - the colors, the jungle, the water. Unbelievable. You won’t believe your eyes. So grateful we came across this tour. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was an amazing experience! Cesar and the other guides were wonderful. They were funny and kind and made you feel safe. I couldn't recommend this tour enough!
Wow! Wow! Wow! This is the most thoroughly exhilarating experience I’ve ever done and I do rock climbing, and I’ve done zip lining before but never a combination moving through a beautiful canyon with waterfalls, zipping across the canyon and jumping through small waterfalls moving through the canyon down to where the stream meets the river. Our guides Jose, JC, Johnathan, and Cesar were amazing fast and kept everything funny, light and made sure we got through the challenging course without losing our nerve. The canyon is beautiful and it poured rain right before we left so the river was swollen and amazing adventurous. I can’t wait to do it again the next time we come. Photos don’t do it any justice. Highly recommend!!!!!

It was a nice exciting trip. The guides made sure that everything went safely. The reason not to give a fifth star: they offer the photos and videos of the trip before the start so we left everything in the locker. Upon arrival it turned out that no photos or videos were taken. Their explanation: because of the heavy rain, the equipment did not work. How is it possible that in the rainforest in the rainy season the equipment does not work while rain is normal for them. The result is that we are now unable to show anything on the home front and are therefore disappointed.
What an awesome day! We’ve rafted. We’ve been on ropes courses. We’ve zip lined. But to put them all together in an incredibly beautiful setting was the best! Guides were very meticulous about safety, while allowing for fun! We had a great day. My only caution is to take advantage of the pickup from the company. Don’t drive that road in your rental car!
This is the second time we have been back to La Roca Canyoneering and it is such a magical experience. We would never do another canyoneering adventure in Costa Rica! This one is too good. The guides Kendell, José, Elder, and JC are incredible. Their operation is seamless and they are so kind, welcoming, and make you feel very safe. Would highly recommend to anyone who isn’t afraid of heights and doesn’t mind getting wet. Literally best experience of my life.
