Rijd langs de prachtige kustweg naar de historische stad Antibes, beroemd om zijn ongelooflijke haven en wallen. Ga verder naar Cannes en vaar over de iconische Croisette-boulevard naar het Festivalpaleis, waar je als een ster de beroemde rode loper op kunt lopen. Op de terugweg bezoekt u het charmante middeleeuwse dorpje Saint-Paul DE Vence, bekend om zijn geplaveide straatjes, kunstgalerijen en een prachtig uitzicht op de zee. Dit dorp, geliefd bij acteurs en kunstenaars, biedt een unieke en artistieke sfeer. Deze kustexcursie met kleine groep is beperkt tot acht personen, waardoor u verzekerd bent van persoonlijke aandacht van uw Gids. Tijdens de tour zal uw Gids inzichtelijk commentaar geven terwijl u vrije tijd krijgt om op eigen houtje te verkennen. Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel door onze Engelssprekende gids, ga je richting de snelweg (speedway) en schiet je van daaruit naar de sprankelende stad Cannes. Verken de stad en ontdek de prachtige paleizen langs de Croisette-boulevard: het Carlton, de Majestic of de Martinez waar de sterren verblijven tijdens het filmfestival.
Maak van de gelegenheid gebruik om over de beroemde rode loper te lopen die de wereldberoemde trappen van het Palais des Festivals bedekt - waar het allemaal plaatsvindt in mei - je hebt misschien zin om 'de 24 treden van glorie' op te lopen en misschien je meest gracieuze pose aan te nemen op de rode loper. Bekijk ook de lokale Walk of Fame met de handafdrukken van beroemdheden voordat je vertrekt.
Zodra de luxe boetieks en prachtige hotels van Cannes zijn achtergelaten, neemt u de kustweg naar Antibes die de zomerresorts Golfe-Juan en Juan-les-Pins doorkruist, beide doordrenkt van geschiedenis en lopende evenementen. Je hebt nu Antibes bereikt, of Antipolis zoals de Grieken het eerst hadden genoemd. Een stad die gedurende vele eeuwen de rol van schildwacht voor het land heeft gespeeld, vandaar dat de wallen rond de oude stad lopen. Daar zou je kunnen overwegen om langs die 15e-eeuwse muren en het Grimaldi-kasteel te wandelen - tegenwoordig het Picasso-museum. Daarna zal je gids je de oude stad uitrijden. Eenmaal voorbij de grote jachthaven van Antibes en zijn 'Billionaires' Quay ', vaar je langs de kustlijn tot je de stad Villeneuve-Loubet bereikt met zijn buitengewone' Marina of the Bay of Angels 'vanwaar je landinwaarts gaat naar je laatste site bezoek.
Last but not least zal Saint-Paul-de-Vence u betoveren. Als je door het betoverende doolhof van geplaveide straatjes met hun talrijke beschermde monumenten loopt, wordt duidelijk hoe dit middeleeuwse dorp een groot aantal kunstenaars aansprak, met onder meer Matisse, Modigliani, Chagall of Picasso die een duidelijk artistiek tintje gaven dat men nu kan nagaan. als je naar de ramen van de talloze kunstgalerijen staart. Je terugbrengen naar een andere tijd - met name vanwege zijn aura van licht op bepaalde uren - is het geen wonder dat ook beroemde acteurs het schilderachtige dorpje Saint-Paul-de-Vence hebben gekozen als hun ideale toevluchtsoord wanneer ze aan de Rivièra komen verblijven. .

You are on your own. Driver dropped us off and picked us up. Cannes is just to take a picture, Antibes is nothing without a guide and St Paul de Vence is really a must see. Best to take a half day trip to St Paul and enjoy history, beauty and art.
We had a wonderful driver guide Alex.R who provided both a historical and modern update on this region, which is the most beautiful in all of France. My only suggestion is it was a very hot day. Is that the company provide water in their vehicles? We had our own water, but it was a very hot day and it would’ve been nice to receive some cool refreshment as it was an eight hour tour. Perhaps they will make that change for future consideration.
Good way to visit interesting sites. The driver/guide has lot of knowledge. Yet, the mini van was too crowded. I think 6 passengers is the right number for a vehicle like this.
The tour allowed us one hour in Antibes, one hour in Cannes, and 2.5 hours in St. Paul. Impossible to see any if those sights effectively in such small time. I recommend taking individual trips to these areas, and allow yourselves whatever time is required. Also, our guide did very little elaboration. His voice was very low and when he was asked to increase volume he used a mike which was even worse. Hardly heard a thing he said.
Was good. Tour operator allowed me to bring a stroller to the car. Guide was nice and friendly. This was child friendly trip. France is very beautiful country after all
The places were nice. Due to higheay incidents it took a very long time to get to each place. I understand the tour company does not have any hand on such incidents. Usually on a tour like this, the guide provides continuing updates, history, interesting facts about the places we visit. Our guide provided little initiatives to provide such information. The previous day we took a tour with another company to perfume factory, Eze and guide was continuously giving us facts.
We had a fantastic day on this tour! Everything was well organised, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Cannes, Antibes, and Saint-Paul de Vence were all beautiful, each with its own unique charm. We had enough time to explore, take photos, and soak up the atmosphere without feeling rushed. The small-group setting made the experience even better. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nice!
Itinerary was great. The guy was knowledgeable, fun and personable. We got around to see a lot of history, experience, great food, and time to shop. All the recipe for a wonderful tour in my book.!
The description is accurate about the length of the stops. I would recommend this your only if you are most interested in the drive as it was challenging even to eat a meal given the short length of the stops. It might be a more enjoyable your if there were only 2 stops and the rest was a scenic drive. My concerns with the tour were that it was more of a private group driver experience versus a guided tour. There was very little overview provided and all of it was while driving. Also, it was not possible to hear from the back seat of the van. When we communicated this to the guide, he took out what seemed to be a karaoke microphone. It had an echo sound effect and was not any louder. Our group rotated sitting in the back seat and also the middle row repeated the limited information shared to the back row. There are factors outside of the control of a tour guide such as traffic. I appreciated that we still were able to complete the tour given long delays due to traffic. My concern (and that of others on the tour) was the nauseating and at times a little scary driving. In intense traffic, the driver would speed up rapidly and then hit the brakes since it was bumper to bumper traffic. At one point, there were back to back slamming on the breaks to the point where seat belts restrained passengers. I understand pedestrians can ignore vehicles but the driver was tailgating a van and this led to the repeated last minute breaking to avoid hitting the van in front. I loved the scenery of the trip. I think there are some elements which were positive. Personally I had no issues with interactions with the guide but the design of the "tour" seems a bit misleading given the lack of effective guiding and the uncomfortable and at times unsafe experiences for passengers in the van.
