Vanuit Greenwich Park krijgen we een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht over Londen. We ontdekken de geschiedenis en betekenis van de Royal Observatory, de Prime Meridian Line en Greenwich Mean Time. We zien de Cutty Sark, gebouwd in 1869, het snelste zeilschip van haar tijd. We hebben vrije tijd om te genieten van de overdekte markt, het National Maritime Museum en andere geweldige attracties.
We vervolgen onze reis naar Cambridge, waar we genieten van een rondleiding door deze betoverende marktstad. We ontdekken waarom Cambridge beroemd is om de uitmuntendheid van zijn universiteit. I went on two tours with the same guide Laura. I enjoyed her comentary which in Greenwich was more special as she grew up in the area. It was a surprise to see a part of london we would not visit if it had not been part of the tour. Cambridge is beautiful and it was nice to have free time to visit the university, Laura recommended some at the end of the tour and I visited Queens College. We also went to Oxford on another tour and it was nice to compare the cities which are very different. Laura gave advise on how to return to Greenwich and has helped me plan a visit to the painted hall which i am so happy to have seen as many films have been made there and the paintings impressed me. I recommend this agency and the helpful and interesting guide.
The guide Laura Correa was an excellent tour guide explaining everything with detail and giving plenty of interesting information about landmarks both in Greenwich and in Cambridge. She gave our group some recommendations about food and lovely places to go in our free time. Top-notch.

Saw lots of great sites, with a good combination of guided walking tour and free time to explore the cities. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly and managed the bus load of different people from different countries. Driver did a great job on the long drives; definitely a full day almost 12 hours long!
had a great time on the tour to greenwich and cambridge from brighton! everything was super well organized, the guide was really friendly and shared lots of interesting info without ever making it boring. both places were beautiful and we had just the right amount of time to explore. totally worth it — would definitely recommend!
It was a truly wonderful trip. Jerry was an absolutely brilliant guide — full of good humour and incredibly easy and pleasant to talk to. The places my friends and I visited were simply breathtaking. We also had a fantastic driver who made the journey even more enjoyable. Very big group. The tour guide was struggling to maintain control. Time lost waiting for people arriving late and counting every time that we returned to the bus. After all delays... return to Brighton was also very late

I did three tours with Discovery tours, all with the same guide, Laura, and this was my favorite tour. I booked the tour to see Cambridge and the University, but I was surprised by Greenwich, it is a very beautiful and interesting place. Laura speaks Spanish and this was useful as Cambridge and Oxford universities are very complicated to understand and she took the time to explain them to me. I paid extra to do the puntin experience, which was unforgettable. It would have been ideal to spend more time in Greenwich as it is full of places to visit, but I had a great experience.
