Wat deze tour uniek maakt is dat het je Cali’s natuur laat ervaren zoals de lokale bevolking dat doet, niet als een drukke toeristische attractie. Je bezoekt een waterval die Cali-bewoners daadwerkelijk gebruiken om te ontspannen, zwemmen en de stad te ontsnappen. Dit is een kleine groep, flexibele ervaring zonder minimum aantal reizigers, dus uw tour loopt zelfs als u alleen bent. Je brengt echte tijd door met zwemmen in natuurlijke zwembaden, het verkennen van de hoofdwaterval en – als je wilt – het wandelen van een kort pad naar een tweede verborgen waterval die veel bezoekers nooit zien. In tegenstelling tot gehaaste tours, biedt deze ervaring van een halve dag een evenwicht tussen gemakkelijke wandelingen in de natuur, zwemmen en vrije tijd, waardoor het ideaal is voor individuele reizigers, koppels en gezinnen. Onder leiding van een lokale Gids richt het zich op verbinding met de natuur, veiligheid en een authentieke Cali-levensstijl in plaats van een route met scripts.

8:00 uur - ophalen bij uw hotel / accommodatie / Airbnb / hostel. De rivier ligt 20 kilometer (50 minuten) rijden vanuit het westen van Cali en 11 kilometer (25 minuten) rijden vanuit het zuiden van Cali. 9.00 uur - geschatte aankomst bij de rivier. Je krijgt de gelegenheid om naar eigen wens van de rivier te genieten en deze te verkennen, met verschillende plekken waar we naartoe kunnen gaan, van supergemakkelijke, luchtige toegankelijke plekken, het trailcircuit doen of wandelen naar een nabijgelegen waterval. Rivierplezier, gezond plezier! Adem frisse lucht in en baad in het kristalheldere, koude rivierwater. Voor natuur- en buitenliefhebbers. We zullen ook tijd hebben om voedsel te consumeren. 11:00 uur - geschatte tijd om terug te gaan naar de stad en naar uw accommodatie. 12.00 uur - geschatte tijd terug in uw accommodatie.

Beautiful place... nature and waterfalls.
It was great to get away from the city and go into the beautiful nature of Cali. Our tour guide was informative.

Great experience! Juan was such a nice guy and we talked about the history of Cali, Colombia. The waterfall was nothing less than beautiful and so peaceful. The second waterfall was closed off, so I didn’t get to see it. It was not Juan’s fault. I had traditional snacks from the locals. Overall, lovely
It is very nice and we had a great time. It is a place full of life and nature and wildlife. Definitely if you come to cali you should know this place
This is a great way to see rural Cali and the mountains. It's gorgeous and a great opportunity for people of various physical abilities. The first waterfall alone would be sufficient, and was for two people in our group. The hike is steep and requires a pretty good level of physical fitness. The second waterfall is similar to the first but for those who want to hike through the mountain, it's worth it. The water is ice cold (but your feet acclimate or freeze quickly). Water shoes are sufficient for both activities. Our English speaking guide was ill and did not show up but I was informed that morning. Luckily we had someone in our group who spoke Spanish well enough and our driver was outstanding in leading the group. My partner had wanted to "climb and hike the Andes" and though he would like to do more - this tour made him happy too. I highly recommend it. Apply bug spray! We all got bitten by something we didn't see or feel.
We loved the place quite nice and lots of nature.
Very authentic, not in a good way. I was informed about the driver and guide by WhatsApp. The guy who picked me up had a different name, he came in a cab. He gave me two sentences in broken English, asked me about where I want to go first. That got me by surprise. I was the only customer, sitting in the back. We left, the guide and the driver talked continuously to each other in Spanish (my Spanish is good enough to understand it was about the last women they met and how much they had costed). All my alarm bells rang, and I insisted to be dropped off immediately. Three stars for this all clichee Colombian experience in the back of a Cali Cab.

Our tours are intentionally flexible and personalized, which is why the guide asked whether you preferred to visit the public park first or go directly to the waterfall — this was meant to tailor the experience to your interests, not to create uncertainty. Before the tour, I also explained via WhatsApp that the guide joining you was new and practicing his English. Supporting friendly local guides who are developing their language skills is an important part of what we do. In Colombia, speaking any level of English already represents a significant effort, and we choose to invest in local talent rather than scripted performances. I must also say that describing this as a “clichée Colombian experience in the back of a car” is disappointing and does not reflect the reality of our work, our values, or the many positive reviews from guests who have trusted and enjoyed our tours.
