It was so good that my kid kept asking if we could go again the next day. My only concern is that coral reef seems to be visibly fading away - I understand that the tour company cannot change that. Guides were kind, funny, well organized and caring. Totally worth it
Reef Adventures was an excellent snorkelling tour for a trip with adults and teenagers to see the reef from Cairns.
A great way to experience the reef especially if you only have a short stay in Cairns. The boat ride out and back was almost as enjoyable as the snorkelling (loved the playlist). The crew - Joelle, Mia and Matt were super organised, friendly, fun and professional. Joelle's guided tour of the reef was amazing. She was so knowledgeable. I learnt so much about the reef, the corals and all the fish we were viewing. The crew were highly respectful of the reef and also of the safety of all their guests. They offered different levels of support to ensure everyone from first timers to experienced snorkellers had a great day. Our weather wasn't the best but it was still a great day on the reef and I will definitely head out with Reef Adventures again next time I'm in Cairns!
Had a fantastic time , the team were all lovely and helpful. We saw beautiful coral and fish .Joe gave us descriptions as we went along. Felt very safe the whole time
This is not a below 6 years old activity. We went on this tour and the sea is rough, which unable for me and my daughter to go down and do the snorkelling. This is a small speed boat which you can feel the movement of the boat. My husband manage to go down and snorkel. The staff are helpful though.
Would recommend this business. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Well organised and boat was clean and stable. Unfortunately you can’t control the weather and we didn’t have the best day. The wind was up and the water was choppy. If in future I was looking to do another day trip I would most definitely stick to an island cruise where we could snorkel from shore. This would hopefully offer some protection from the wind and make for a more relaxed experience. As a confident swimmer I still enjoyed myself but wanting to look after family who are less confident in tough conditions reduced my positive experience.
An excellent trip out on the reef. Not too big a group and even a fun ride out. The staff, Kira, Marie and Harry were friendly, happy and very helpful.

Excellent half-day trip to the reef, with a small group and with very nice guides (Mia and Bradley). They took us to the reef close to Green Island and swam along, showing and spotting marine life as we went. Great value for money if you're not the professional snorkeler who wants to see it all. The amount of time spent is just right to get there, see the barrier reef and tick that box. The only thing to pay attention to is the tide. IF you time it right, you'll get there with a tide low enough to make it an even better experience.
Amazing experience with lovely knowledgeable staff, lots of time in the water, a real beautiful spot!
