Er is geen andere canyoning ervaring zoals deze in Australië. Behana Gorge is het echte werk : natuurlijke rotsglijbanen, klifsprongen en abseilen langs granieten muren in het regenwoud van de Werelderfgoedlijst, op 30 minuten van Cairns CBD. Je 5 uur durende avontuur loopt door watervallen en kristalheldere zwembaden in Wooroonooran National Park. Elke sprong, glijbaan en abseil is optioneel. Je Gids leest de groep vanaf het begin en past zich daarop aan. Beginners, gezinnen en adrenalinezoekers vertrekken allemaal tevreden. Groepen zijn beperkt tot 10 per Gids. Je Gids kent je naam, let op je zelfvertrouwen en duwt je op de juiste momenten. Alle uitrusting voorzien : wetsuit, thermische top, helm, harnas en zwemvest. Routes worden dagelijks geselecteerd op basis van waterstanden. Behana is de enige canyoning tour in Australië die het hele jaar door actief is. Geschikt voor kinderen van 8 tot 80 jaar. Retour shuttle van Cairns CBD inbegrepen.

Excellent experience. Very physical and requires willingness to climb rocks, jump into pools, and be active. Excellent team did an amazing job of keep the group safe and moving. Even the teenagers loved it.

Max and Caroline were amazing! They were incredibly helpful, guided us through everything perfectly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We had so much fun with a great group of people, and the courses were fantastic too.

We had an amazing day with Max and Dom. They made us feel completely safe and were very patient with me when I was afraid of some of the jumps. My teenage daughters absolutely loved this trip and thought it was one of the highlights of our vacation in Australia. Also take the time to enjoy how beautiful the gorge is and you get to see it from a completely different view. It is a physical trip, but I would highly recommend this experience!

Great catch up with a good friend so we did canyoning and we weren’t disappointed. Max and Dox were expert guides, we felt safe and had a fantastic time. This was an amazing experience and I highly recommend these guides and this tour!

Great fun day out. We were well looked after with competent and fun guides. The experience was a buzz and I felt safe through all the adventure activities. Abseiling, jumping, swimming, rock hopping. Lots of laughs!

Dom and CJ were amazing guides. You can tell they have a passion for the what they do and ensure everyone has a great time & safe. Be prepared to do a lot of jumping off cliffs.

I had a great day out in Behana Gorge with Baz and Dom! Both are fun and easy going, they really seem to love what they are doing. We learnt some little bit of history regarding the Cane Toads, which was interesting. It was a little bit confusing about the pick up, as I was told by the office to go to Maccas in Gordonvale but then got a call (which I couldn't take as I was driving) from Baz to go to the servo across the road, I was there in time anyway so all good. The gorge itself is beautiful, the weather was perfect and I had so much fun, jumped from (to me at least) high cliffs that I never thought I would. To top it off, we got lucky and even saw a snake next to the road which was pretty cool. Hopefully I can come again in the near future!

This was the best canyoning experience I’ve ever done (and I have done others)! Bazz, our guide was very funny, very careful, patient and led an outrageous adventure through the canyon. This is a “must do” activity when you are in Cairns!
