Bezoek de bruisende Cai Rang Drijvende Markt bij zonsopgang voordat u rustige dorpjes verkent, deelneemt aan een Vietnamese kookles, kajakken langs schilderachtige grachten, fietsen door fruitboomgaarden en traditionele ambachtelijke dorpen ontdekt. Vergeet niet dat we je om 4:30 uur 's ochtends vroeg ophalen bij je hotel en vertrekken naar Can Tho City. Het duurt ongeveer 3 uur om in de stad te komen. De Cai Rang Floating Market is van zonsopgang tot ongeveer 9 uur 's ochtends druk en dan varen we er met de boot naartoe, een rit van ongeveer 30 minuten. Je krijgt de kans om op een koopvaardijschip te stappen en alle kleurrijke vruchten te bekijken, zoals mango's, rambutans, longans en de "koning van het fruit" durian. Terwijl je op de boot zit, proef je heerlijke straatgerechten zoals Pho, Bun Rieu, Com Tam en Hu Tieu. We zien ook hoe noedels en rijstpapier "Banh Trang" worden gemaakt en maken een ontspannen wandeling door het platteland. Natuurlijk kunnen we het niet laten om tropisch fruit te proberen, hete thee te drinken en een leuke visreis te maken. Daarna gaan we naar Vinh Long - Cai Be.
Doe mee met onze kookles en lunch bij een gastgezin op het eilandje Tan Phong in de provincie Vinh Long. Dompel jezelf onder in de lokale cultuur door te fietsen, kajakken en deel te nemen aan spirituele activiteiten die deel uitmaken van het culturele erfgoed van Zuid-Vietnam. We lopen langs de oever van het kanaal om lokale specialiteiten in de Mekong te bezoeken, zoals Pop Rice Cake, Coconut Candy en Tropical Rice Wine. Daarna keren we terug naar de boot om het Kingdom of Vinh Long Red Pottery te verkennen, dat de traditionele esthetiek en cultuur van de Mekong Delta vertegenwoordigt. Vervolgens stoppen we bij een lokaal dorp voor een roeiboottocht in een sampan, die je dieper het platteland in brengt door kleinere kanalen omzoomd met mangrovebomen en verschillende soorten fruit. Je krijgt ook de kans om te luisteren naar lokale artiesten die muziek spelen en seizoensfruit te proeven in de Mekong Delta in Cai Be. De tour eindigt met een drop-off bij je hotel rond 17:00 uur.

Amazing trip, we had a few initial hiccups in the morning but thats due to no ones fault. The communication was clear and consise. We did a private tour so had Tri’s(our guide) full attention. He went above and beyond to make the day a success. I would highly recommend them.

Our tour guide name was Linda, it was a very pleasant experience. She was very nice and helpful on all topics. Also very funny and brightens up the mood. Sometimes it was a bit hard to understand but she will gladly repeat the sentence. Overall the tour was very fun we went to a lot of different places. The only down side to it was that it started at 4 am in the morning. We were all pretty tired. ^^
