Onze theeceremonie biedt een zeldzame kans om het rustiger aan te doen in een rustig dorpje aan zee, waar gasten de Oosterse theecultuur in een rustige omgeving kunnen ervaren. Elke sessie is zorgvuldig samengesteld, waarbij thee, verhaal en kalme gastvrijheid worden gecombineerd om gasten te helpen weer contact te maken met zichzelf door middel van de kunst van thee. Gasten worden ook uitgenodigd om te genieten van een selectie van unieke theeserviezen, elk stuk geselecteerd om de stemming en sfeer van de ervaring te verbeteren. In de Oost-Aziatische traditie werd thee vaak genoten naast poëzie, schilderkunst en kalligrafie — de zachte kunsten die theeliefhebbers koesterden. Geïnspireerd door dit culturele erfgoed omvat onze ceremonie een kalligrafieactiviteit waarbij gasten hun thee-ervaring kunnen uitdrukken met penseel en inkt. Deze doordachte oefening voegt niet alleen een creatieve dimensie toe aan de sessie, maar biedt ook een tastbaar aandenken dat de geest van stilte en reflectie vangt.

A great way to learn about Korean tea culture, history, and calligraphy. I learned about the types of tea. The entire ceremony had a calming effect on me, almost meditative. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Busan.

Lovely experience with Min. I learned the traditional way tea is prepared following both Korean and Chinese etiquette. I also practiced calligraphy which was easier than I thought it would be. Still need lots of practice but not hard to learn.

The highlight of our trip to Busan! The tea ceremony was a very personal experience as we ended up being a group of 3. Our host, Min, was very poised and brilliant at answering all our questions and providing us insights into the tea itself as well as the etiquette and history that comes with a tea ceremony. Being able to do the calligraphy at the end was the cherry on top and extremely fun especially after the calming experience of the tea ceremony.

Ms. Min is the owner of Daman Teahouse and she is very knowledgeable about Korean and Chinese ceremonial tea practices! She answered all of my questions and was very patient as I practiced the correct way to pour tea. This experience has inspired me to look more into the history of tea and to learn about different properties of tea. I also appreciated the calligraphy session after the tea ceremony. The best experience we have had in busan. The host is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. You will walk out knowing more, with great teas being tasted and an amazing calligraphy momento. An amazing place and event to find Rest and kindness. It is centered around slow and deliberate sensation for 1 to 4 people in about 2-2.5h. Maybe not for small kids.

It was my first time experiencing a Korean tea ceremony, and it was such a beautiful and interesting experience. The teacher taught me about Korean and Chinese tea, and explained the meaning behind each movement. I also enjoyed the calligraphy experience!

My wife and I attended the tea ceremony and calligraphy session. Min was a gracious host who offered us a variety of teas from different countries, some of which we never knew existed! Min brims with passion for tea, including the science of making tea as well as the long, storied history of tea. Min was extremely welcoming and kind and made us feel right at home! Included in the ceremony, Min carefully curated Dasik (traditional Korean rice cakes) that were out of this world. This was hands down one of our favorite activities in Busan!!!
