Lopen op het water? Ja, graag! Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory beschikt over een prachtige 72,5 - meter lange skywalk die zich uitstrekt over de oceaan, in de vorm van een mythische blauwe draak die het dorp beschermt. Als u op de transparante glazen vloer stapt, voelt u de sensatie van de krakende golven direct onder uw voeten terwijl u geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op de ongerepte kustlijn van Busan. Het is de ultieme plek om de kustbries te vangen en je volgende virale vakantiefoto te maken!
Haedong Yonggungsa is een adembenemende tempel aan de kust van Busan, wat het een van de meest unieke tempels in Zuid-Korea maakt. Deze tempel werd gesticht in 1376 en onderscheidt zich van andere tempels die doorgaans in de bergen liggen, omdat hij direct aan zee ligt en een compleet andere sfeer biedt. De naam van de tempel, wat zich vertaalt naar "Oostzee Drakenpaleis Tempel", is geworteld in een legende dat een draak uit de zee opsteeg om goddelijke energie naar het gebied te brengen. Een van de meest fascinerende kenmerken van de tempel is de harmonieuze mix van de architectuur van de tempel met het prachtige kustlandschap. Om de tempel te bereiken, moeten bezoekers 108 treden afdalen en als ze dat doen, worden ze begroet door een adembenemend uitzicht op de zee. Deze geweldige hangbrug is een waar juweeltje van Busan, Zuid-Korea, en strekt zich uit over een indrukwekkende 7,4 kilometer. Hoewel de brug zelf alleen bereikbaar is met de auto, biedt het adembenemende uitzichten als je er overheen rijdt, waardoor je kunt genieten en fotograferen van zowel de Gwangan Bridge als het prachtige omliggende kustlandschap. Elke zaterdagavond om 20:00 en 22:00 uur vindt er een spectaculaire droneshow plaats boven Gwangalli Beach, die samen met de verlichte Gwangan Bridge op de achtergrond te zien is, waardoor er een magische nachtelijke sfeer ontstaat. Bovendien wordt de Gwanganbrug in oktober het middelpunt van het grootste vuurwerkfestival van Busan, met adembenemende vertoningen die over het water reflecteren.
Deze markt is ontstaan doordat vrouwen die na de Koreaanse oorlog waren gevlucht, hier vis begonnen te verkopen. Dankzij de grootte, het soort zeevruchten en de netheid is het nu een representatieve vismarkt in Korea geworden. Er is een beroemde slogan in deze markt. Het is Oiso (kom), Boiso (zie) en Saiso (koop) in het Busan-dialect.
BIFF Square in Busan is niet alleen een paradijs voor filmliefhebbers, het is een levendig centrum waar de allure van cinema en de opwinding van stedelijke verkenning naadloos samenvloeien. Stel je voor dat je door levendige straten dwaalt, waar elke stap je dichter bij de illustere voetafdrukken van gerenommeerde filmsterren en regisseurs brengt - een Zuid-Koreaans eerbetoon aan de Hollywood Walk of Fame. Het is een van de meest representatieve plekken om het harde leven van vluchtelingen na de Koreaanse oorlog te laten zien. Momenteel is het een representatieve toeristische bestemming in Busan geworden met kleurrijke en mooie huizen, muurschilderingen en kunstwerken. Op deze plek kunt u genieten van de smaken van "moolbangul tteok" (rijstcake met regendruppels), "kkul aiseukurim" (honingijs) en "mashimello aiseukurim" (marshmallow-ijs). Just got back from a full day with Green and Kevin our driver. They have a great itinerary but you can customize it to your liking. They picked us up right at the cruise terminal and we had a full day seeing beaches, Temple, fish market and so much more. Saw so much more than we would have on a cruise ship tour and a better price.
We had a fantastic tour with Green ( not sure of spelling) and Kevin as driver. They were so nice and took all over efficiently and easily. We saw so much and they were flexible with our needs too. Busan was a wonderful Place and tour was our favorite on our cruise.
Our guide Bada was excellent he picked us up at the. Cruise port, had water for us. Car was spacious and comfortable. He explained where we were going and in what order. We enjoyed all the spots and we loved Busan !

We had an amazing day exploring Busan. This was our second tour with Jason! The tour was the perfect combination of culture, history, delicious food and beautiful scenery. Some of our most notable stops were Jagalchi Fish Market, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, and Gamcheon Culture Village. Today we docked in Busan, South Korea’s vibrant coastal city, and packed plenty into our day ashore. Suki was our guide. For me, it was a particularly special visit. It has been 26 years since she was last in South Korea, having spent a month in Cheongju when she was 15. Returning to Korea brought back many fond memories and offered a chance to reconnect with a language she once learnt. We explored the stunning Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the few Korean temples located on the shoreline, with breathtaking ocean views and a fascinating history dating back to 1376. A particularly moving stop was the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea, the only United Nations cemetery in the world. The beautifully maintained grounds are the final resting place for service members from 11 nations who lost their lives during the Korean War. Walking among the graves and the Wall of Remembrance was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by thousands of men and women in defence of freedom, and a humbling moment during our visit to Busan. We then wandered through the colourful streets of Gamcheon Culture Village, often called the “Machu Picchu of Korea,” with its pastel houses, vibrant street art and winding laneways. While exploring Gamcheon, I had the opportunity to wear a traditional hanbok, a special moment that brought back memories of her previous visit to South Korea all those years ago. It was wonderful to experience such an iconic part of Korean culture again while wandering through one of Busan’s most picturesque locations. We also visited the famous Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge, taking in spectacular views across the coastline, before finishing the day at Jagalchi Fish Market, South Korea’s largest seafood market, where the fresh seafood and bustling atmosphere were unforgettable. Unfortunately, we missed out on visiting Gukje Market and BIFF Square after some of our group wanted to return to the ship earlier than the official all-aboard time. A little disappointing, but just another reason to come back and explore more of this incredible city. Busan impressed us with its mix of history, culture, coastal beauty and amazing food. As part of our cruise itinerary, Busan was a port of call and we decided to reserve a private full-day tour with Korea Go Tours through Tripadvisor. Jino from Colour my own was our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and driver. He shared a great deal of information about Busan and was attentive to our needs. He brought us to a wonderful restaurant for a delicious Korean lunch that really added to the whole experience. At our request, he modified the itinerary and added the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea (UNMCK) in Busan which was very touching and allowed us to reflect on Korea`s history and Canada`s participation in the Korean War. We also visited Jagalchi Market, a huge fish market with an incredible variety of seafood. Overall, a phenomenal day with a friendly and knowledgeable guide! If you reserve this tour, ask for Jino and you will not be disappointed!

Our tour guide is Alan, he is friendly, fun and flexible. Great personality. We have a short stopover at the port, we managed to cover all the tourist attractions on the pre-set itinerary and be back to the port on time. Moreover, he took us to try the popular pork soup and local sweet potato pancakes as well. He is on time and helpful. Contacted me the night before to ensure we will not miss each other after disembarked from the ship. Additionally, the company that organized the tour, is professional and experienced with great communication. They provide us with extra info such as bring some local currency (street food vendor don’t take credit card) start time and etc. The tour is small group only 6 people which is a plus too. Highly recommend.
