Ontdek de natuurlijke schoonheid van de Bungle Bungle Range terwijl je West Kimberley verkent in een klein vliegtuig op een dagtour vanuit Broome. Vlieg naar Purnululu National Park en land daar om de Bijenkorfkoepels en Kathedraalkloof van dichtbij te zien. Je passeert ook uitgestrekte vlaktes, Halls Creek en de Windjana-kloof tijdens een tour met ontbijt en lunch, vluchten en grondtransfers en ophalen en inleveren van het hotel.

Je wordt rechtstreeks naar de eigen vertreklounge met airconditioning op Broome International Airport gebracht, waar je wordt begroet met ontbijt, koffie, thee en vers sap. Terwijl u geniet van het ontbijt, zal uw gespecialiseerde piloot u door de uitgebreide veiligheidsvideo leiden en u een korte briefing geven over uw vlucht voordat u aan boord van het vliegtuig gaat voor uw volledige dag Bungle Bungle Fly Drive-tour. Als u Broome verlaat, gaat u over de gemeente Broome langs Chinatown, Roebuck Bay en omgeving. De vliegroute voert u over de Malcolm Douglas Crocodile-boerderij en de Broome Road voordat u op weg gaat naar het open landschap van de Kimberley. Halls Creek is een druk servicestadje voor omliggende veehouders, Aboriginal Gemeenschappen en reizigers die het noorden van West-Australië verkennen. Halls Creek ligt in het hart van de Kimberley en is de toegangspoort tot een reeks wereldberoemde natuurlijke attracties, waaronder de Bungle Bungle-reeksen die op de Werelderfgoedlijst staan van Purnululu National Park. Aangekomen bij de Bungle Bungle ervaar je een van 's werelds meest spectaculaire natuurlijke wonderen. Hier wordt u begroet door Bungle Bungle Guided Tours. Je bent in veilige handen van hun professionele gidsen en overgebracht naar de Bungle Bungles in een van hun moderne 4WD-voertuigen met airconditioning. Hier kun je de Piccaninny Gorge bewonderen en een pad van drie kilometer door de zandstenen ‘bijenkorf’ koepels lopen te voet. Geniet van een picknicklunch in het prachtige amfitheater van Cathedral Gorge. Ga zitten, ontspan en deel verhalen over uw avontuur voordat u terugkeert naar de landingsbaan van Purnululu National Park.
Vertrekkend van de Bungle Bungle kunt u de beroemde Horseshoe Valley en de Coalition Range bekijken vanuit een uniek luchtperspectief. Bekijk op de retourvlucht de King Leopold Range. De King Leopold Ranges strekken zich uit over driehonderd kilometer van Walcott Inlet, in het westen tot ongeveer honderd kilometer van Halls Creek in het oosten. De reeksen bestaan uit lange, robuuste, spinifex bedekte ruggen en hellingen. Mount Ord op negenhonderdzevenenveertig meter boven zeeniveau en Mount Broome op negenhonderdvijfendertig meter zijn de hoogste toppen in het bereik. Bij aankomst in Broome wordt u verwelkomd in de vertreklounge van Broome Aviation, waar uw piloot u een gratis souvenir en extra informatie over de tour beloont voordat u wordt teruggebracht naar uw hotel.

Creditcards kunnen een toeslag van 1-5% aantrekken. Passagiers die bedwelmd worden geacht, zullen de toegang tot het vliegtuig worden geweigerd en er wordt geen restitutie verleend.

An excellent unforgettable trip. Nothing like it. The best and 'easiest' way to get to the Bungle Bungles range. Enjoy the sites of local Broome but a trip to Broome or the Kimberley ranges in NW Australia is incomplete without this trip. This is a one of a kind landscape. So if you don't go you will never have another opportunity elsewhere to see it. You fly at low level over the Kimberleys area so you get a general idea of the diverse landscape. And they fly you over and around the bungle bungles range so you get a full complement from the air. It looks different from the ground!! Broome Aviation does a wonderful job of hosting you. It may appear pricey but it is worth every penny. It is a day long and precarious drive to get there by vehicle and you would arrive exhausted. Can't get their faster or in better shape without flying. Great hosts. Knowledge. Indigenous guides provide indepth explanation of the beauty and beliefs about the area. You will love it and remember for the rest of your days.

Abridged version: we didn’t get to the Bungle Bungles as the plane broke down with apparent electrical issues at Fitzroy Crossing. The positives: the preflight breakfast was nice, with thoughtful options like almond & soy milk; the pilot remained gracious in the face of our mounting expressions of frustration as the trip unfolded; the refund was prompt. The disappointments & concerns: from the outset, it didn’t augur well. Pickup was late, with no initial apology or explanation; the operator struggled to unravel the tangled straps of the life vest during the safety demonstration; the plane itself showed its age in several non-functioning parts eg the adjuster for the back rest of my seat wasn’t working, leaving an excessively obtuse angle between my thighs and back, an unsustainable position had it not been for my jacket rolled up to provide lumbar & thoracic support. After an uncomfortable initial leg, we arrived at Fitzroy Crossing to refuel, only to hear the tell-tale signs of electrical issues when we tried to take off. Fortunately, we had access to water, shelter and toilets during the prolonged wait for a rescue plane, but I was surprised Broome Aviation didn’t take the initiative to liaise with, for example, the local roadhouse, to provide cold drinks and food for us at their expense. The plane to return us to Broome eventually arrived and again, was a concern: the low volts warning light was on for much of the trip & communication with base was lost, the pilot reassuring us there were ‘two other radios’. Overall, the trip was a huge disappointment, with little to indicate that aircraft maintenance and customer comfort and service are priorities for Broome Aviation.

Unlike the majority of reviewers I have to differ on the experience we had with Broome Aviation. We booked the Bungle Bungles trip and advertising material and the confirmation advice we received led us to believe we were travelling on the 8-10 seater Cessna shown in promotional pictures. Rather than being advised in advance we found out on the day this was downgraded to a dilapidated 6 seater Cessna that was 40 years old ( see pictures). Upon stopping to refuel at Fitzroy Crossing our plane broke down. This was supposedly due to a failed battery, something that should not happen according to experts if it is checked regularly and replaced where necessary particularly in outback Australia. We were left for 3 hours to fend for ourselves in the heat while awaiting a replacement plane to return us to Broome curtailing our trip to the Bungle Bungles. This plane was just as ramshackle as the first one and voltage lights showing a faulty alternator occured on the return journey causing further anxiety. I would seriously consider whether you wish to travel on planes like this to remote locations in outback Australia. We were also very disappointed with the owners attitude and explanations provided with regard to our concerns and inconvenience experienced due to substandard travel arrangements. We were refunded but no other compensation was offered.

We are sincerely sorry not only for the disruption to your Bungle Bungle experience, but also for the lengthy wait in Fitzroy Crossing before a replacement aircraft was able to return you to Broome. All of our aircraft are maintained in accordance with strict aviation regulations and requirements, and when a technical issue arises, the aircraft is not permitted to continue operating until it is assessed and cleared as airworthy. In this case, the decision not to proceed with the tour was made entirely in the interest of passenger safety. We are sorry that the day left you with a poor impression of both the aircraft and the way the situation was handled. We acknowledge that, despite the refund being processed, the experience itself fell well short of expectations and of the standard we aim to provide. Thank you again for your feedback. It may be ok for younger travellers but not for elderly persons. Sceneries are spectacular from the air. Only 1 travel guide on site with no support to carry a heavy backpck with lunch, cutlery, plate cups and fruit juice for 10 people. It weighed around 25kg. It ended up my son, age 50, being the youngest had to help to carry the backpack for 2 hours walk to the place for lunch. Not a relaxing tour to enjoy the scenery for him. When he game back, he got a sour shoulder.

Wow!!! What a fantastic day! Could not be anymore impressed and grateful to the entire team, including the Kingfisher Tours crew at the Bungle Bungles with Bec and Mia taking us to Cathedral Gorge.
