Deze tour is ontworpen voor diegenen die geïnteresseerd zijn in het ervaren van een korte rit met de Japanse Bullet Train, met een rondreis van Tokio naar Mishima, gelegen aan de voet van de Fuji in de prefectuur Shizuoka. Bij aankomst in Mishima Station verkennen we deze prachtige lokale stad, waaronder het 1300 jaar oude Shinto-heiligdom, Mishima Taisha en Rakujuen Park. Een goed geïnformeerde Engels sprekende Gids zal inzichten geven in Japanse cultuur, gebruiken, geschiedenis en meer. De Gids haalt u 's ochtends op bij uw hotel en zet u aan het einde van de tour af.

De gids haalt je op bij de meeste hotels in het centrum van Tokio. Als uw hotel niet in de lijst staat, laat het ons dan weten, dan kunnen we mogelijk nog steeds een ophaalservice regelen. Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel in het centrum van Tokio, begin je aan een spannende rit met de Japanse hogesnelheidstrein Shinkansen, ook wel bekend als de Bullet Train, vanaf het station van Tokyo. De reis duurt ongeveer 50 minuten. Op een heldere dag heb je misschien door de treinramen een prachtig uitzicht op de berg Fuji, wat de ervaring nog gedenkwaardiger maakt.
We stappen uit de Bullet Train op Mishima Station, gelegen in de prefectuur Shizuoka. De stad staat bekend als uitvalsbasis voor klimmers van de berg Fuji en bezoekers op weg naar Hakone. Het is ook beroemd om zijn rijke bronwater uit de berg Fuji. We zullen Shirataki Park verkennen en langs de stroom van kristalhelder water wandelen.
Mishima Taisha is een van de oudste en belangrijkste Shinto-heiligdommen in het gebied, met een geschiedenis van meer dan 1300 jaar. Het werd gerespecteerd en bewonderd door talloze samoeraikrijgsheren, waaronder Minamoto no Yoritomo, de oprichter van de Kamakura Shogunate-regering. Je kunt genieten van een zeer rustige en heilige sfeer binnen het heiligdomgebied, en je zult ook leren hoe Shinto de Japanse levensstijl en cultuur beïnvloedt. Daarnaast is er een hertenkamp op het terrein waar u hertencrackers aan de herten kunt voeren.
Na te hebben genoten van een lunch in Japanse stijl, bezoeken we Rakujuen Park, gelegen naast het Mishima Taisha-heiligdom. Dit stadspark beschikt over bossen, vijvers, beken, historische gebouwen en een klein pretpark en dierentuin voor kinderen. U kunt de natuurpaden bij de vijver verkennen en binnenlopen in het historische houten gebouw, dat ooit de residentie was van de keizerlijke familie.
Ten slotte nemen we om 14.00 uur de ultrasnelle trein die vertrekt vanuit het station van Mishima en genieten we van nog een aangename Shinkansen-rit terug naar Tokio. Laten we het meeste halen uit deze comfortabele, snelle, hightech treinreis! Nadat u uit de trein stapt, begeleidt uw gids u terug naar uw hotel.

- Als uw hotel zich buiten ons aangewezen ophaalbereik bevindt en alternatief vervoer, zoals een metro, niet haalbaar is, zijn gasten verantwoordelijk voor het betalen van het tarief. Dit omvat de kosten voor zowel het vervoer van de gids naar de eerste bestemming als van de laatste bestemming terug naar uw hotel.
- Voor degenen die voor de Green Car-optie kiezen, wordt het verschil terugbetaald als de Green Car-stoelen op de dag uitverkocht zijn.
- Voor degenen die voor de Japan Rail Pass Holder-optie kiezen, moet zelf een Bullet Train-ticket worden gekocht als de Japan Rail Pass verlopen of ongeldig is.
- Nadat u bij uw hotel bent opgehaald, wordt er gebruik gemaakt van een metro of lokale JR-trein, en hetzelfde geldt voor de drop-off-service.

Excellent overall experience. Recommend to upgrade to the green cars in the Shinkansen. Well worth it. Yoshi was an amazing guide. Very personable, accommodating and patient. Yoshi is an excellent guide. Due to the weather he was able to customize alternatives on the fly but still got us to see the sights that mattered to us. The bullet train was so fast and Yoshi always kept us informed and masterfully navigated all the trains.

Mishima is a hidden gem. I love the Tranquillity and natural and genuine environment. What I most loved was the streams running thru and within the city. U can also see mount fuji from there. I didn't know we were gonna walk alot.. did at least 15000 steps. Much needed for me. . But our guide Yoshi. Made it so relaxing , walking on a beautiful day. He took care of us. We felt safe and not lost. So thankful for his knowledge, and guidance. It was fun with him. He was the best. He went out of his way to show us back to our hotel bland also walk thru the famous shibuya crossing. Thank you Yoshi !!!

Yoshi was the absolute best!!! He had everything in his little black bag. I fell and scraped my knee, he had a bandaid. He had water for us. Then, it was the hottest day ever, we sit down for lunch and he pulled out a fan!!!! He navigated us thru multiple subways to finally board the bullet train. He was very informative and if you take this tour, ask for him. A++++. We wanted Pokemon cards and he found us a great Pokemon store in one of the subway stations

Riding on a bullet train was top of our list and this trip gave us that and so much more!! We were collected at our hotel by Yoshi who had been in contact with us several times already and were expertly guided through the maze of rush hour Tokyo train travellers which was an experience in itself. We rode the Metro like locals and then got a tour of the main station and the approach to the Imperial Palace. We hadn’t actually realised that it was a private tour so we had Yoshi to ourselves all day!! We would never have been able to navigate the mass of the people at the station by ourselves nor find the right train etc even if we had managed to get tickets so were very grateful that we had booked the trip. The train is AMAZING!! Such a buzz watching them. Yoshi had thought if everything- offering us a bottle of water and he had a device which showed us the speed of the train which was very exciting. In addition, he gave us a commentary throughout and told us lots about life in Japan. The shrine was beautiful, there were several babies being blessed all wrapped up in silk kimonos- gorgeous. After learning how to make an offering and watching people receive their fortunes we headed for the park / garden via a stop at a shop where Y explained what the items were. (He even bought me some chocolate!) The park was exactly what we imagined a Japan garden would look like. The trees were amazing and we had lunch watching the butterflies dancing. We then headed back to the train before taking another train -The Loop - to return back. Being married to a train buff that was another tick in the box. This tour has been the highlight of our trip and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Yoshi was a star and went out of way to make our day the best! Thank you

A must do tour. If you’re fortunate enough to have Yoshi as your guide, you have the best guide there is! Yoshi went out of his way to accommodate my husband who had an old hip injury flair up; walking was difficult, but Yoshi thought quickly and out of the box, to make this tour more enjoyable than we would have ever thought. The bullet train and Mishima are Japanese experiences you shouldn’t miss.

Yoshi came to our hotel and we had an excellent day. We experienced the bullet train and arrived at Rakujuen Park in time for a tour of the building within the park. Interesting location and beautiful view from the house of the pond. Yoshi explained how to pray at Mishima Shrine. Found the ritual very spiritual. Yoshi took us to a Sushi restaurant for lunch. He helped us choose from the delicious menu. Enjoyed the experience and managed to use chopsticks. Our day ended with the bullet train back to Tokyo and Yoshi taking us back to our hotel. Yoshi gave us a fantastic day.
