Bahoutdin Architectural Complex is een complex in Bukhara, Oezbekistan. Shaykh Baha-ud-Din of Bohoutdin was de stichter van de Naqshbandi-orde en werd beschouwd als de spirituele beschermheer van de gouverneurs van Bukhara; hij stierf in 1389. Dat is de reden waarom zijn necropolis, die vervolgens bij zijn graf werd opgericht, altijd de meest gewaardeerde in Oezbekistan was en blijft en zijn faam heeft andere islamitische landen bereikt. Oude toponymie van deze nederzetting is bekend onder de naam Kasri Arifon.
Nasrullah Khan of Emir's Zomerpaleis was een gekke en wrede khan, maar hij hield zielsveel van zijn vrouw. Toen ze tijdens de bevalling stierf, vernoemde hij het paleis naar haar. Hij vergeleek haar schoonheid met de maan, haar naam was Sitorabony. Zo werd het Sitora-i Mokhi Khosa Saroy, het paleis van een ster als de maan.
Het huis-museum van Faizulla Chojajev is bewaard gebleven in Boechara, dat laat zien hoe Boechara's miljonairs leefden aan het begin van de 20e eeuw. Fayzulla Xoʻjajev huismuseum of Fayzulla Xoʻjajev herdenkingsmuseum is een herdenkingsgebouw vernoemd naar de politicus Fayzulla Xoʻjajev in Boechara, Oezbekistan. Het huis museum is gevestigd in het appartement. Dit museum is 3 hectare groot. Het bestaat uit twee afzonderlijke binnenplaatsen voor mannen en vrouwen.
Chor Minor, ook wel bekend als de Madrasah van Khalif Niyaz-kul, is een historisch poortgebouw voor een nu verwoeste madrasa in de historische stad Buchara, Oezbekistan. Het is gelegen in een laan ten noordoosten van het Lyab-i Hauz-complex.
Geniet van lokale gerechten in het best beoordeelde restaurant "The Plov". Plov – een mengeling van rijst, groenten, vlees en kruiden – is populair in alle landen van de Zijderoute, maar wordt het meest geassocieerd met Oezbekistan. Het wordt minstens één keer per week op grote schaal geconsumeerd, het is het nationale gerecht van het land en wordt beschouwd als een onmisbaar onderdeel van familiefeesten. Het wordt geserveerd bij geboorten, bruiloften en ter ere van moslims die terugkeren van de hadj.

Not really a countryside tour. Two of the sights were in the old town. One of which we had already visited on a city walking tour. The out of town mausoleum was superb. The summer palace interesting. The guide was excellent and interesting. Overall was over priced, and a visit to the mausoleum with a taxi would have sufficed

Our guide, Sheki, spoke slowly in English that was easy for us to understand, as we were not good at English. It was a laid-back car and the driver was kind. I was an English speaking guide, so if I had been told in advance where I was going, I would have done some research beforehand to gain a better understanding.

It was great to get outside of Bukhara's old town and visit many beautiful and unique places. Plov was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Just wished we had some more time at the Summer Palace of Moon and Stars. Overall a great experience!

Nargiz the tour guide was knowledgeable and a friendly personality. She understood that I know a great deal about Islam, and we could have interesting exchanges about Sufism and the Naqshbandi. The Summer Palace was fascinating in its combined Uzbek and Russian architectural and visual aesthetics. Lunch at The Plov restaurant was superb with the added decor designs of the place using ikat and silk embroidery Suzani.
