De tour begint vanaf het havencentrum van Katakolo. U huurt de grappige openluchtauto BeachBuggy® die is uitgerust met FM-stereo en ook met een Bluetooth Sound System waarmee u uw favoriete muziek van uw telefoon of Youtube kunt horen tijdens uw rijden Kustlijn van Katakolon Peninsula! Je hebt de mogelijkheid om de BeachBuggy® auto van onze gids te volgen wanneer we 10 minuten Coastline blijven rijden tot onze eerste stop. We passeren een Natuurlijk en plezierig pad met veel graveerbare foto's in je geest!
De eerste stop is het hoogtepunt van Agios Andreas dorp, stad van het oude Elis in de Pisatis, gelegen op de landengte die het voorgebergte Ichthys (nu de Kaap van Katakolo) met het vasteland verbindt. We stoppen 30 minuten, voor een kopje koffie (extra kosten), ademen/wandelen/fotoshooten of zwemmen.
Tweede stop is het dorp Leventochori, een prachtige strandbestemming waar de weelderige groene heuvels van Elian land ontmoeten de zee, het creëren van een reeks pittoreske kreken versierd met donker zand! We stoppen 30 minuten, voor een kopje koffie (extra kosten), ademhalen/wandelen/fotoshooten of zwemmen
Volgende halte is het klooster van Panagia Skafidiotissa of Skafidia, waaraan het zijn naam ontleende, werd gebouwd rond de 10e eeuw. Naast het helderblauwe water van de lonian, aan de monding van de rivier Lardanes. De bezoeker zal verblind worden door het middeleeuwse fort dat het omringt van veraf te zien. Naast de opmerkelijke architectuur heeft het ook vele religieuze en historische schatten, zoals: Heilige vaten, gewaden, reliekschrijnen, uniformen, wapens, iconen, munten, votieven en de banier van het klooster gemaakt van een handgeborduurd icoon gewijd aan Theotokos. We stoppen 30 minuten.
Volgende stop is het kleine dorpje Skafidia, de site van de oude stad Dyspontium, een van de acht steden van Pisatis in het oude Elis. Het was gelegen in de vlakte tussen Elis en Olympia, ten noorden van de rivier Alpheus en niet ver van de zee. We stoppen 30 minuten, voor een kopje koffie (extra kosten), ademen/wandelen/fotoshooten of zwemmen.
Volgende stop is Kourouta Beach, het meest kosmopolitische en Blauwe vlag strand van Ilia dat het zand zich uitstrekt over meer dan 16 km, gewassen door het kristalheldere water van de Ionische Zee, gelegen op slechts 21 km (13 mijl) van de haven van Katakolon. Naast het gouden zand en het diepblauwe water van Kourouta strand, langs de kust zijn talloze café bars, restaurants, Griekse taverna's met ouzo, verse vis en traditionele gerechten. We stoppen voor 60 minuten om te zwemmen en te ontspannen in de ligbedden waar u kunt worden geserveerd van drankjes, koffie of eten genieten van het uitzicht op zee!

Amazing activity- we loved it.. loved the car- very easy to drive and looked great. The cars are very modern and we got to play our own tunes while cruising all over the town. No issues getting in or out of the car. George was fantastic- took us to all the good spots, gave us water and snacks and even took great photos and videos for keepsakes. George was really friendly, helpful and nothing too much to ask. We hope George and his business do well
Fantastic trip with George and his beach buggies, nothing was too much trouble very help and knowledgeable. The buggies were in amazing condition, well maintained. We really enjoyed the trip from start to finish, if you are in this area book this trip you won't be disappointed!!
George is absolutely AMAZING! The buggy location is only about a 5-minute walk from the cruise port, which made everything incredibly convenient. George has three buggies available for each tour, and the entire experience was perfect from beginning to end. We visited three spectacular beaches, each beautiful in its own way. At the third beach, my husband and I had what was genuinely some of the best pasta we have ever had in our lives! The scenery, the food, and the entire experience were unforgettable. What really stood out to us, though, was George himself. We originally had a 12:30 PM reservation, but George was thoughtful enough to reach out and recommend that we move our tour to 9:30 AM so we wouldn’t have to worry about getting back to our cruise ship on time. Because of his recommendation, we were able to fully enjoy the tour, return with plenty of time to spare, and still have time to shop around before getting back on the ship. As a Black couple traveling in a foreign country, feeling safe and comfortable is extremely important to us, and George made us feel completely SAFE, welcomed, and taken care of the entire time. He is incredibly genuine, kind, and truly God-sent. Please do not skip this experience. BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY! You will not regret it. We had a great time!! Lots of fun. George led us all around to see the local villages and beaches. Our kids went into the water at all three beaches. Just the right mix of site seeing and relaxing. The buggies were new and fun to drive. George was flexible and allowed us to stay at one beach a little longer. Highly recommended!!
Absolutely, the best time! Discover Beaches, The Quaint Countryside , Rural & Farming Villages all while having fresh air and the time of your life! Office with the buggies was easy to find and only a short walk from the cruise port. Kouroutas Beach was a lovely spot. Clear water with a sandy bottom. Got loungers and ordered food. Great day!
We had an amazing, unforgettable time riding the classy, shiny buggies!! So well-taken care of, and the drive was very easy and Fun! It was a very hot summer day, but the open-air drive to the beaches were the best way to spend with younger kids/family, visiting beautiful beaches - and the final dip was so refreshing and relaxing! We loved it so much, even our grumpy teenagers and our 10 year old enjoyed it and couldn’t stop talking about the unique memories we made. Starvos has also been so accommodating even after I made a mess with canceling and rebooking and going through much trouble with the charges. We’re so glad we got to do this experience together as a family in Katakolo!! You and your family will really love it too!
It will be so great and fun. Wear swim suits alot of beaches. Don’t worry if it’s a rainy day George will still make it a special experience.
Great experience in Katakalon. We had a rainy morning but didn't prevent us to have fun. George was great guide and very attentive and we had fun along the way. Beaches were nice and water Great. Buggies are great quality and they are quite new well take care of. If you are group friends or family this would be a great day out for you.
One beach buggy tour was AMAZING! First of all, the beach buggy vehicles themselves turn heads as we drove through the streets of Katakolon, playing our fave 80's tunes on the Bluetooth radio. Our guide George took us to various beaches and spots that were heaven on Earth, where we were able to take pictures that we treasure now that were back home. George stopped at a wonderful restaurant where we sipped on Ouzo and local Greek beer along with a stop at a beach club for a few hours where we took a dip in the Agean Sea and soaked up some sun. Driving along the back roads with all of the breathtakingly gorgeous views is something we will never forget! We highly recommend booking the Beach Buggy experience! Trust us, you will not be disappointed and will go home with memories of a lifetime. Thanks again, George!!
