NOT value for money. Tour advertised cycling through countryside BUT NO CYCLING didn’t see or get a bike ride!!! “Riding” water buffalo took less than a minute albeit fun. Coconut boat was relaxing & there were opportunities (payable) to do karaoke or/& be spun extremely fast. Crab fishing consisted of a small cane &line with meat on but no takers so boat person just picked some crabs from a net. Lunch was good. The “guide” did a good job with organisation. Overall a very poor tour for the money. Hopefully Viator will read this & give 50% refund as only half a tour.
Super worth it. The bike riding turned out to be one of the most immersive experiences in our one-month in Da Nang region, especially biking from the coconut boats to Hoi An. The coconut experience was awesome - obviously touristy, but not in an aggressive or abrasive way. We were glad we did it. The buffalo was quick but very unique and enjoyable. Food was good! Everyone very friendly. Driver on time and on point! Overall we loved it! Well organized and very communicative organizers!
The boat ride was great and quite an experience. The buffalo riding was a bit underwhelming. Basically just stopped on the side of the highway, rode the buffalo in a circle like you would at a petting zoo, and then left. It was a funny experience though. The people were nice and there’s good shopping around where they put you in at the boats.
My family have a wonderful vacation in Da Nang. Prople are friendly every where. We shopped at Han Market, vincom market, and night market. Da Nang Beach is colorful at night fill with people in every cornor of it. We have taken a lot of photos in the beach, Golden Bridge, Hoi An night matket, basket boat, buffalo ride, night boat, and marble mountain. We hope to be back a few years from now yo enjoy our next vacation.
We had an amazing day, exploring Hoi Ann. It was so much fun riding the bikes, slightly scary on the roads but exciting and then peaceful and beautiful through the fields. Our guide was extremely accommodating to us, we live in Asia and we’re not interested in exploring the temples and so he took us to a wood village. It was quite nice and we were even able to bring back some lovely souvenirs. Writing water buffalo as a family was quite an experience. The basket boats were also lots of fun. Our kids enjoyed fishing for crabs. We loved visiting with the locals on the different stops. After our tour ended our guide Trường was so helpful in telling us where to eat, to be able to experience the town more! We had delicious snacks along the way and yummy coffee.
Awesome experience. From the start to the end we were looked after very well. Meeting the buffalo was the highlight for me. The basket boat ride was also very entertaining and we had some great photo opportunities. Thanks to Long and his team! Highly recommend this tour.
This tour experience with Long was fantastic. We had an amazing bicycle ride through the paddocks and met Se the water buffalo. The boat ride and local food speaks for itself. Thank you Long and your family for your kindness and hospitality.
I didn’t have high expectations for this because of the price point but boy was I wrong. You really get the bang for your buck on this one. We saw beautiful rice paddy fields and took a ride on a gentle bull. Then we went on the coconut boat ride. What a pleasant surprise. It was quite entertaining! We finished off with a delicious lunch. Many opportunities for great photos. Just be prepared to take a long leisurely bike ride. As long as you’re capable of that, you’re in for a real treat. Don’t hesitate on this one!
This trip was such a fun time! We absolutely loved the bike ride through the rice fields. The boat ride was awesome and the lunch afterwards was so delicious! 10/10 recommend adding this to your itinerary while vacationing in Vietnam.
The driver did not find us despite sending resort name, GPS data and photo from the entrance. Instead of coming forward, he was just standing somewhere on the street waiting for us to find him by ourselves. Ultimately, it took almost half an hour to kill. In Hoi An he dropped us off, whereupon we waited for another 30 minutes in bright sun for our guide. Luckily we had water with us, because unfortunately there was none during the trip. Then we went buffalo riding, great fun for about a minute each on the back of a water buffalo wading through the field. Then take the round boat to the palm forest and fishing village, where a local performs daring boat tricks to overdriven techno music. The lunch afterwards was a real highlight, very local and very delicious. For us the best part of this trip, then we went back to the hotel.
