Budva is een kuststad aan de Adriatische kust in Montenegro. Deze stad dateert 3450 jaar geleden en is een van de oudste steden aan de Adriatische Zee. Het gebied rond de stad, langs de kust, wordt de Budva Riviera genoemd. De Rivièra is het centrum van het Montenegrijnse toerisme, bekend om zijn zandstranden en nachtleven, het gebied van hotels en restaurants dat de prachtige kust van hoge bergen scheidt. De naam Old Town, Budva, werd in de middeleeuwen gedragen en de meeste architectuur van deze stad was van Venetiaanse oorsprong. Deuren, ramen, balkons en vele andere delen van de constructies zijn in Romeinse stijl. Het heeft zijn oorspronkelijke vorm behouden met zijn smalle straatjes, pleinen en stenen trappen die naar de elegante huizen leiden met kleine ramen omlijst door uitgehouwen kozijnen en rode pannendaken. Budva heeft een groot aantal culturele en historische monumenten, kloosters en kerken die de historische en sociale gebeurtenissen in het gebied van de Budva Riviera documenteren. Het wordt '' koningin van de Adriatische Zee '' genoemd.

We didnt find meeting point. Anyone can say were is Necropoli. Net wasnt work. Info point didnt have sny information about turistic objects. Its shocked. Budva with lockals wad verybad experance gor us.

Flexible & friendly people. Great customer service which is very rare for Montenegro in general. The guide was great spoke slowly cause my mum doesn’t speak english very well & even translated where necessary, then delivered her to the hotel. So i am pleased & would definitely recommend.

Budva is a must see for anyone traveling in the region. Its an "old town" with a wonderful past. The night time entertainment in the city is great too but start your day with a city tour. Its worth the cost and will blow your mind...or just boggle it.
