Wat onze originele Foodapest Street Food Tour echt uniek maakt, is dat de ervaring de perfecte mix is van authentieke Hongaarse smaken, lokale verhalen en intieme groepsvibes. In tegenstelling tot standaard food tours gaan we verder dan alleen eten : we verbinden je met de cultuur, geschiedenis en mensen achter elke hap. Je proeft alles van iconische hoofdgerechten zoals goulash en schoorsteencake tot minder bekende lokale favorieten, allemaal gecombineerd met zorgvuldig geselecteerde regionale wijnen en sterke dranken. Elke stop is een mini culturele deep-dive, begeleid door de lokale bevolking die niet alleen eten deelt, maar ook de verhalen en tradities die de Hongaarse keuken zo rijk maken. Met een ontspannen, kleine groep setting is dit niet zomaar een tour, het is een gedeelde culinaire reis waar je vol, geïnspireerd en misschien zelfs met een paar nieuwe vrienden vertrekt.

- De 11 : 30 AM tour omvat een begeleid bezoek aan de Centrale Markt van Boedapest en richt zich op traditionele Hongaarse gerechten.
- De 17:00 uur tour slaat de markt over en omvat meer lokale drankjes en avondeten proeverijen.
- Kom hongerig : Beide ervaringen omvatten een royale selectie Hongaarse gerechten en proeverijen, ontworpen om een volledige maaltijd te vervangen.
- Ervaring met kleine groepen : Tours zijn beperkt tot maximaal 12 reizigers voor een meer persoonlijke en ontspannen ervaring.
- Dieetwensen : We kunnen veel vegetarische, veganistische en glutenvrije diëten opvangen, hoewel sommige individuele proeverijen moeten worden overgeslagen of vervangen. Gelieve ons te melden bij boeking.
- Coeliakie : Helaas kunnen we geen volledig glutenvrije omgeving garanderen vanwege kruisbesmettingsrisico's.
- Alcohol : Alcoholische dranken worden alleen geserveerd aan gasten van 18 jaar of ouder. Alcoholvrije alternatieven zijn voorzien voor jongere gasten en iedereen die liever niet drinkt.
- Bevestiging wordt direct na boeking verstrekt.
- In het onwaarschijnlijke geval dat de tour wordt geannuleerd vanwege zwaar weer of onvoldoende deelname, krijgt u een alternatieve datum, een andere ervaring of een volledige terugbetaling aangeboden.

Excellent adventure, tasting Hungarian food and wine. Flora our guide was fantastic. Goulash and Lagos were delicious, Chimney cake and chicken pancake superb, plus a lovely dessert. Home brewed apricot liqueur not to be missed Would thoroughly recommend this tour
Such an amazing food tour! I am writing this from a restaurant they brought us to on the tour since I didn't want to leave Budapest without another Langos! Flora, Nikki and Danny were GREAT tour guides! I am so happy that I booked this tour, I learned so much and ate such delicious foods. Definitely book this!!! I always do food tours when I travel and this has been one of my favorites

We went on the walking tour with our older parents. The tour was well organized. The guide gave of lots of information about the city and the food and they had two guides so the slower people in the group didn’t get left behind or slow down the faster people. And of course the food was amazing!
We are a three generation family, ranging in age from 22 to 80 and we all enjoyed the tour. Our guides, Flora and Nikki, were fun to talk to and were very knowledgeable. We find food tours are a great way to learn about the history and culture of a country in a family friendly way and this tour was no exception.
For every 10 participants, 3 attendants joined us and enlivened us with all kinds of back stories. Packed with local food, the last is the classic guillache with wine 🍷🍾 It was a satisfying 3 hours!

I’ve done countless food tours across more than 12 countries, but this one truly stands out as something special! From the start, the setup was fantastic. The meeting location allowed me to show up an hour early to explore a vibrant local market just down the street, a hidden gem I never would have discovered on my own. Our hosts: Flora(hopefully spelled right), Niki, and Danika, were exceptional. Their incredible energy, warmth, and depth of knowledge (not just about local history, but about other cultures as well) genuinely blew me away. The history shared throughout the tour was incredibly eye-opening, and tasting authentic, traditional Hungarian food in Budapest was a real highlight. To top it all off, we were given a sweet little recipe book to take home. In all my travels and food tours around the world, I’ve never had a guide team do that before! It’s such a thoughtful touch that lets you bring the experience home with you. If you're in Budapest, do not hesitate, book this tour!
